Bought this for my sister for her birthday because I have one, she loved it. The tool makes weeding the gardens so much easier. Love a good Hoe

Good, low-cost hoe with wooden handle
This is a sturdy, low-cost hoe with a wooden handle. Wooden handles on garden tools are much easier to use than metal handles.

Wish it could dig deeper in hard soil, needs to be sharper.

The best way to weed mulched beds
I read about this stirrup hoe in the NYT. I was skeptical that it would cut weeding time by 2/3's but it was even better than that. I finished a 20'x50' mulched bed full of weeds in 20 minutes. I didn't even need to pick up the weeds. About half way through cleaning up the dug up weeds, it started pouring and I didn't have a chance to pick-up the rest. It didn't matter. Now three weeks later the weeds have not come back. Best hoe ever made...
