The Best Steamer I’ve Ever Owned
I’ve had the SALAV GS18-DJ garment steamer for over 3 years now, and it still works just as perfectly as the first day I used it. The 1.8L water tank gives me a full hour of continuous steaming, which is more than enough to get through multiple outfits or even a pile of laundry in one go. The steam is powerful and consistent, and I’ve never had issues with it losing strength over time.I also really appreciate the thoughtful design — the roll wheels make it easy to move around, and the adjustable pole makes storage simple. It heats up quickly, saves me time compared to ironing, and leaves clothes looking smooth and fresh. The build quality has impressed me the most. After years of regular use, it still feels reliable and durable, with no drop in performance. It’s definitely been one of my best appliance purchases, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a dependable, long-lasting steamer.

Great steamer!
I bought this steamer to steam tablecloths for my daughter’s wedding. I should have bought two! This worked great- far better than the handheld ones we also had. It worked steadily for the entire day (!) we steamed. It was harder to keep the hose high enough to steam the sides of the tablecloths but we figured it out. Did have a few seconds where steam would stop but I had read reviews and knew that might happen while water was heating up. Easy to drain the water afterwards. I had thought I would sell or give it away after the wedding but I am keeping this for sure!

Great but wish steam was more powerful
Works great but wish the steam had a little more force.

Don’t buy it!!!!
This is a horrible steamer. When I first got it, I HAD to use it as I didn’t have anything else and was in a hurry….. It was a replacement for a really good one that had finally died after years of solid use. This one NEVER had a steady stream of steam, it was never consistent and has ALWAYS leaked out the bottom. I’ve had it for a couple of years and have dreaded using it every time I had to. I decided finally today I was fed up with this POS and am putting it by the street and purchasing another one. Poor quality, terrible design and just never worked properly. I figured I could live with it, but as much as I use a steamer…. I just can not anymore. Don’t buy this one, get something else. It’s too much money to spend for something that just never is going to do a great job.

Powerful Large Capacity Steamer with some Flaws
I’ve had this steamer for close to a year and don’t regret the purchase. I used to have a handheld steamer that needed to be refilled after every 2 or 3 garments, so this was a much welcome change. The reservoir for the water is big and it translates to how long the steam runs and the large amount of clothes it can steam before needing to be refilled. I can go weeks without refilling with low usage. I have had to refill it when I tried to steam my whole closet in one sitting, but that was dozens and dozens of pieces so it’s understandable. The pink is such a cute color and it takes up very little space. It has the option to customize the length of the pole. I extend it all the way so I can hang clothes on the hooks without it dragging on the ground. When it’s shortened the whole way, it makes it travel friendly and you can remove the pole part entirely to make it more compact. The hose is sturdy and hard to bend (which you can see when the pole is down). It also gets hot when in use since that’s where the steam travels through. Not enough to burn, but enough to be wary of touching it. Definitely keep children away so they don’t get hurt.I’ve only noted 2 downsides:1. Stream of steam is interrupted every few minutes. I’m assuming this is to allow the water to be heated more so more steam can be created. This can get annoying if you’re in a rush or tired. I find myself waiting 30 or so seconds or up to a minute with no steam coming out while the water boils. Which is noisy by the way. I don’t mind since I don’t need to be quiet but something to be aware of.2. Sometimes so much steam comes out that it’s basically a trickle of water on your clothes. So you end up with wet stains on your clothes. And if you’re not careful, the hot water will splash on you. This does burn! It’s only a few drops but man does it hurt. I’m careful of where I hold the head when I notice my clothes getting a bit wet. I also fling the head away from me to get any excess water out. Or run it hole-down over some cloth to wipe it dry. As long as you’re careful, this won’t be a downside. But it’s dangerous so again, no kids nearby to be safe.I mention these downsides since I know they can be dealbreakers for some. I can make do despite the downsides in exchange for the price point and large water reservoir, which is why I don’t regret the purchase. Plus it works! It does steam wrinkles out.Of course, the steam is hot and will burn you through your clothes so be mindful of your hands and always keep the steam pointed away from you. This is true with all steamers so it’s not a ‘downside’ for me. But I have caught myself slacking and ‘touching’ the steam without meaning to.I currently use regular tap water so that might be related to my issues, but I don’t remember much of a difference when I did use distilled water when I first bought this. But if I let the water sit for too long it will get a humid smell so I make sure to clean the reservoir regularly and switch out the water if I haven't used it for a bit.Overall, I would recommend. Please like if you found this review helpful ☺️

Steamer is OK. Easy to assemble and steams good. A little loud and wish the hangar was longer and also had clips for pants and holders for tanks like my old steamer.

Awesome!!! Just what I needed and more!
First off, I am not an influencer or anything like that..I am just a regular person like most people on here. I am familiar with fabric steamers though. I purchased a hand held one but found for daily use it was too heavy when fully filled with water so I kept it for when I travel. Now, I saw the videos on this and thought why not? I bought it to try it out and I love it! First off: great wrinkle release, fast heat up and continual steam. It has a large water capacity so you can steam to your hearts content. The hanger attachment is a nice bonus to help breeze through what you need done. The flexible hose allows you to move around the garment without worry and the wheels on the machine makes it easy to move around to whichever room you prefer. The only thing they should change is putting in a longer cord. That may just be a safety thing though. It’s nice you can’t collapse it down for easy storage however, I keep mine stored at full height for quick touch ups in my closet. Let’s talk money..you can spend a lot of m$ney for these things! In the upwards of a thousand or more dollars depending on the brand and whether or not if it’s a professional version. I saw a few for a couple hundred dollars on here but seriously why??? It does a great job for under $80?! Try it. I’ll bet you’ll like it. If not, then leave it to Amazon to have an amazing return policy!
