Mine came from OdysseyComputersMD and let me tell you this was a ride to unpack. Custom packing material instead of the standard foam you get these in, an RGB Mouse and Keyboard, a Wireless USB Adapter, and what looks to be the most horribly mauled computer case I've seen.The aesthetic issues were 99% remedied by taking the original plastic wrap off the sides of the computer. Even if they weren't, wouldn't care. this is a server in a closet.I decided to try the $7 alibaba keyboard/mouse combo but with them plugged into the computer, it wouldn't recognize the USB boot drive I had attached. I didn't realize a cheap USB device could do this but sure enough, switching to they keyboard I usually use to set up servers allowed it to boot from my USB Drive.I am 100% happy with this machine and even had a fun adventure along the way. I'll have to try out this wireless usb adapter some day if i want another adventure.5 stars assuming this stays working as well as it is right now.

minor external scratches but inside it looks very clean and dust free, almost new. came with a windows os; so had to reset the uefi boot in order to install linux. took out all the drives and installed a cheap m.2 pci x16 card with a 2tb nvme drive, which is 6 times faster than ssd. bios recognizedit as a boot device. had to erase all previous uefi marks in the bios. go through the bios screens and follow the logic. installed debian 12, linux-kvm and easily ran 6 virtual machines for a kubernetes openshift test environment. nvme iops is around 2000+ mbits, ssd sata 500, and hdd 150. on my older i7 the nvme iops were 1000+, so the i/o is twice as fast eventhough the machine is twice as old. has plenty of expansion slots, ssd raid, great cooling fan setup, runs very quiet. comes with 4 caddys for an internal disk array, which i plan to use for a zfs pool. a very cool older workstation, still plenty fast.

I am being forced to rewrite my original review for some community standards thing which wont allow me to fully tell the truth. I despise this type of attitude that Amazon and so many other have adopted. The machine is as described and so far functions exactly as one would expect it to. I am very satisfied with it and would consider purchasing again in the future.

I've purchased a used PC from Amazon previously. This one arrive a bit more scratched - but I didn't buy this for it's looks, so whatever.When I first attempted to turn on the PC it gave a 5-beep code - this indicates an issue with memory, so I opened the PC and reseated all the memory cards. This fixed the issue. I'm not sure why they were not fully seated - I'd assume the unit was tested prior to shipment. Shipping should not have been unable to unseat the memory without other damage, and the box looked clean. I suspect one of the cards (or more) was not fully locked when assembled/upgraded.The PC itself is fast (per my current standards), and the OS was installed to a factory setting which allowed me to perform the setup and make my own choices. Everything about the PC is fully functional so I have no real complaint.The only possible quip I have is that the main hard drive should have been a bit bigger. [It amazes me how big modern software has become - with cheap memory and fast processors, software no longer is as concerned about speed and size... but I digress...]

I got 2x E5-2630v3 CPUs, 128GB of ECC RAM of mixed types, a new Patriot SSD and a used 2TB enterprise HDD. The case was very clean, and the SSD had Windows 10 Pro with all the drivers already installed! That's important, as drivers are a major thing with servers. I turned off hibernation and the page file to preserve the SSD. Great machine for Hyper-V hosting. Very pleased!

Works fine and price is good but dropped on the corner. Amazon would not send a replacement panel. 3 stars.

Came in with the hard foam packaging so shipping wouldn't bang it up. Scratches on the case, purely cosmetic. Opened it up and everything was clean, nothing out of the ordinary. Hooked up and turned it on, got a disk error. Reseated SSD and HDD, Windows came up just fine. Generic RAM, Samsung SSD, and Seagate HDD. Comes with one power cable. Runs Proxmox and several VM's just fine.
