Braun Braun Kombipack 52s Replacement Shear and Blade Blade In Silver for Series 5, 1 pounds

I am a long-time loyal Braun electric shaver supporter. I've had my Braun 5S Wet/Dry for five years and it's performed like a charm. I purchased it with the Clean & Charge station and would press the clean button after 2-3 shaves. I thought this was enough to keep it going. Over the past several months, I noticed it to be a little bit more painful when I would use my electric shaver, as it was pulling the hairs on my face and not doing a good job of cutting them. I would have to run the shaver over the same section of my face 3-4 times to get all of the stubble cut off. It would take me about 8-10 minutes to shave to get all of the stubble. I finally got fed up with that and started to do a little research. I found the owner's manual and looked up the model and type to ensure I was ordering the correct replacement shaver head with blades. I found this on Amazon quickly and placed the order. It arrived the next day and I couldn't wait to open it to try it out. I took the old head off, opened the packaging, and snapped the new head on. Done in 10 seconds! It took me longer to open the package! I turned it on and ran it across my cheek near my jawline and I was surprised! Baby smooth in the first pass!! Amazing what sharp blades can do! I looked at my watch and kept shaving in my normal manner. When I finished shaving, I looked at my watch and was shocked. I was done in 1 min 10 seconds. Why oh why did I wait so long to make this purchase?!!!

Wow these are hard to find! The last Braun 52S I purchased was made in Germany. When I went to reorder on Amazon they now say under Details: Proctor & Gamble made in China. So took a gamble and surprisingly this Braun Kombipack 52S is still made in Germany. Going to buy another one while I still can

Product delivered as expected. Look at your manual to order the right head, I ordered the right one. Note that the blades are included in the head on the 52s model.

I have been using Braun self-cleaning foil shavers for decades. They work very well, although I have a tough beard, so the shaver heads need to be replaced about every 6 months. That's OK with me. I ordered this back in March 2024 when I put on a new shaver head because I like to keep a new one on hand. It was in legitimate looking Braun package and appeared to be authentic at first glance. The packaging did not look like it was previously opened. I used the new head a couple of times starting 9/2/24, when I immediately noticed that it seriously pulled whiskers instead of cutting them. So, I inspected it closely compared to 2 old ones, and it was made very differently. 1) foil was not as thin and smooth, 2) heads did not "float" on metal pins, but used plastic instead, 3) weighed much less than other ones, 4) no numbers of letters stamped on underside of head.I called Braun, and they said there definitely would be numbers stamped in plastic on underside, and that they did not change how the heads were manufactured. Conclusion: this was counterfeit.So, beware. Authentic 52S heads have metal pins that the heads "float" on, they have letters and a date code stamped on the black plastic underside, and they weigh 16 grams. The fake one weighed 11 grams. Unfortunately, because I didn't discover this until 6 months after I ordered it, I cannot return it for refund. Braun said that you should order Braun products both sold and shipped by Amazon to ensure they are the real thing. I ordered one sold and shipped by Amazon yesterday, and just received it this morning. It is the real thing. Expensive lesson learned. I hope Braun finds who is selling fake ones in identical packaging. I hope this helps others not to get scammed by sellers on Amazon. Buy yours only when sold and shipped by Amazon.
