The difference is exactly as it sounds. It was formulated in the USA. (What goes in it was figured out in the USA) But it could actually be manufactured anywhere else.

Well, it would be about 166mg each tablet if three equals 500 ( As the labkk look e says)

I take the capsules and have never opened and emptied them

No, it was spelled correctly Acerola cherries on my bottle. Peak performance is legit. I'd return it or replace it if you are concerned though.

Best Form of Vitamin C

Not sure what to say here, as it's naturally-obtained, whole food, vitamin C, which is known to be the most bio-available form of it, which is why we take it. Never noticed any negative side affects of taking it and only do so as part of our normal, healthy-minded supplementation regimen, to ensure optimal health and nutrition. Tor the price, it's hard to beat this option. We've purchased it for years and will continue to do so.
