Flowmaster942545 Super 44 Series Chambered Muffler

Put this flowmaster muffler on my Avalanche and boy does it sound so much better. It had straight pipes on it that were way too loud. Now it has a deep throaty sound. Though not as quiet as a stick muffler it does sound good.

This was manufactured properly no defects to my knowledge. I’m not sure if mileage has gotten better because vehicle has a mis and sputter at low rpm so I’m not sure if the injectors are firing properly or combustion is right. However I do notice after doing a full cat delete and doing true dual exhaust the issue has gotten 90% better. The sound is okay. I have shorty headers installed I was lookin for a bassier sound. It does sound pretty good though. I have 94 F150 Flareside 5.0 liter 302 Engine.

Nicest, meanest sounding muffler I've ever ran on any vehicle, except for the drone at around 2k rpm's...and the fact that my state makes passing inspection unlikely with one of these. Too damn bad too, `cause it increased the throttle response, low-end torque, mpg's, and made my modded V6 Explorer sound like a V8. I put on a MagnaFlow after this and it did just the opposite - and sounds like an import car, not a truck.

Flowmaster has great sounding mufflers. If you're not sure what to get, look around for videos of your vehicle, but I can assure you this muffler sounds great. I got the 942545 from an Amazone Warehouse deal which I believe was discounted due to being returned. Either way, the sound out of this is loud enough to know at idle and at wide-open that it's a flowmaster, yet quiet enough to still have conversations in the car. If you're looking to give this as a gift, be sure you get the measurements correct to what your car has. My car came stock with 2 1/4" exhaust, but someone has repaired or replaced it at one point before I bought it and it had a 2" exhaust. It's best to get the exact same size, if not, 1/4" larger muffler than exhaust and buy clamps to secure it. It's also clearly marked "inlet" and "outlet" so you know which way it goes on.

I have ordered super 44s for a 2005 dodge power wagon and 1976 chevy k10 . they have been installed by exhaust shops and as far back as I could fit them so there is no drone in the cab . These mufflers are loud at wide open throttle but sound great at idle and high way speed . not stupid loud like super 10s and not quite like flowmasters 40s they are the perfect aggressive sound . all my trucks are full exhaust systems with rear bed exit exhaust tips , don't be that guy with a single cab chevy and put one of these on your dumped exhaust and expect not to drone LOL

Just got my flow master on my 2015 Chevy Colorado z71/V6 . Sounds amazing and definitely feel the response and power now . Next is a cool air intake to add. Very happy🥳 ok I’m writing this few months later got cool air intake installed and O Baby. Unleash the horses in the vortex V6 motor and much deeper sound 👌

I have wanted these for a LONG time;but for one reason or another,I have always had to wait to get them-NOT ANYMORE!! The price was phenomenal,and I made the investment! I LOVE the way that my Interceptor goes from a low roar to a distinct GROWL with the simple push of a pedal! My CVPI's name is "Serenity",based on the many hours of enjoyment that I have already had,and will have in the future-and I look forward ROARING down these Georgia highways like I have wanted to do for a LONG time.

Great deep, clean, throaty sound. Put on a 08 silverado with custom welded X-Pipe. High levels of flow to match the other motor and tuning work. Took a while to pick an exhaust, I was going for a deep sporty truck sound. Definitely not your redneck bolts rattling around a tin can sound.

I love the product but it came damaged when I got installed the muffler company had to fix it for me because the damage was severe it wouldn’t work if they didn’t fix it
