A great awning for above a door or window.
Great price. Well packaged. Fast delivery. Good design; components fit well together. Now installed and looks GREAT! My only suggestion would be the inclusion of a (substantial) paper template for the "footprint" of the mounting base. That would permit the installer to easily mark the position of each bracket, locate where to drill the necessary holes in the wall,, etc. The template could reflect the center-to-center distance from bracket to bracket by printing a table showing that measurement for each awning width.

Attractive, light, sturdy, a pain to assemble
If you don't like assembling Ikea furniture, think twice. The pictorial instructions are nearly worthless. You must remove four protective sheets, or they will curl and look ugly in the UV sunlight. The best way to assemble the awnings is to fit the panels into the center joint, connect the front and rear edge pieces to a bracket (using provided screws), then slide the joined panels between those edge pieces and wiggle the panels into the slot. (There's no order of precedence indicated on the "clear and helpful" instructions.) Then you can slide the other bracket onto the bracket/panel/edge piece assembly.Once correctly assembled, they are light, sturdy, attractive and protective.

Shed with Wooden Exterior
The product aligns with the price in quality. The installation bolts it came with are only suitable for concrete.Instead I used toggle bolts with a washer and collapsing wing nut. My shed walls are wood on the exterior with space between to the interior drywall. The hardware was useless in this type of wall. So, think ahead and get the toggle bolts with a washer and collapsible wing nut.

Excellent Quality and Easy to Install!
I’m very happy with this item! The material feels durable and well-made. It was easy to install, and it fits perfectly. It looks great and functions just as described. Definitely a good value for the price. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a reliable product like this one

Good Buy for the money
IT'S BEAUTIFUL 😍 THE COLOR ADD SO MUCH TO MY ENERGY. IT WAS A BIT CHALLENGING TO INSTALLED BUT THE WORK MAN AND I GOT IT DONE. We had to be careful with the installation cause we didn't want to damage the polycarbonate tile. After installing it was very secure and sturdy.

Great coverage for front door
This is surprisingly nice. I put it together and it didn't seem very sturdy. It was easy to assemble. However when mounted in place it does feel pretty solid. It looks very nice! I will update if it falls apart with the next hurricane. But for a little over $50 it's worth it so far for adding shade to my front door and cover from rain. I didn't use the included bolts to secure it to the house. I used lag bolts from the hardware store.

More difficult than I expected
I had a mini-split installed a few months ago. Our installed said it was fine to leave uncovered, but I was concerned about the pipes coming out of the back of the unit. It did tell us that some people build little "dog houses" over them (which was not really possible because of our window). Thought a window awning would protect that end of the unit. This was one of the least expensive, of the size that I needed. Would look a bit strange, but hope to plant some bushes in front of this unit, so really looking for practical.I am a pretty handy guy, built a house about 20 years ago. Not an expert, but usually can build or fix things around the house. This it lightweight, it is all plastic, except for an aluminum top and bottom rail. Assembly was confusing. All parts have letters assigned in the instructions, so say things like "Connect the accessory E into the accessory B become J" and then, of course, next you connect I to the J to become K. There are pictures, but hard to tell if this piece slides in this slot or not. Once it is all together, then you have to add screws. My advice at that point it to get a drill, and use that to start the short screws (this will make sense of you buy this product, self tapping screws into a round piece of aluminum.Once outside they come with "screwset" to install to the house. These did not work for me. I think they are supposed to expand, like an anchor. They didn't, they just expanded enough to prevent me from removing them, but didn't hold the canopy tight. Finally, admitting defeat, I used a piece of wood to hold it against the house (old piece of hardwood flooring, with long desk screws). It works, and will protect that end of my heat pump. Time to build and install was about 4 hours (did break for lunch, and a walk while my drill battery charged). Took three people, my wife holding it together as I drilled and screwed it all together, and then my son holding one side as I tried to attach to the outside wall of my house. So why 3 stars? I don't know if there are any easier to assembly and install products available. It is installed on my house, it is strong enough that it should work. I think if I had been able to replace the "screwsets" with some regular anchors or carriage bolts, it would have pulled in tighter to the house. So not a bad product, just not clear, easy to follow instructions, and horrible installation screws.

It works.
It works great but don't know how long it will last. The plastic cover is light and looks not strong.
