Value for money product. It is obviously not built like a tank, but functions smoothly. The case is made of acceptable quality plastic and may not be fall resistant. Comes with all the required wires and adapters such as data cable, Power adapter with cable etc. Overall satisfied. Will come back to this review if any thing unacceptable happens in the future.

Very good external had drive caddy. I bought this to recover data from my malfunctioning WD-MyCloud NAS drive which has 3.5" WD Red hard disc drive. That drive fit the caddy like a glove. The caddy and that disc drive were operational continuously for 96 hours without any problem during the data recovery process using a third party software.Some of the previous reviewers had expressed concern about heat build-up, since the caddy case is made of plastic without ventilation. I found that there are some ventilation holes at the bottom of the caddy case, so they are of little use. I kept the slide-on top cover open throughout the data recovery operation to keep the disc cool. Alternatively, you can punch a few ventilation holes on the side and top of the plastic casing.Overall, a very good and easy to use product. It does what it says. I might use it to house an external SSD in the near future.

Device is not working. Purpose not resolved.There is no support.Sorry to say.Waste of money. Donate money to orphanage people instead of buying this product.

Fits laptop 2.5" internal Hard disk drives (HDDs), Solid state drives (SSDs) and 3.5" desktop internal HDDs. The flush bottom of the casing allows easy sliding attachment and detachment of disks. The no screws slide-fit lid allows us to work in open condition, should there be any long time and repeated maintenance operation of one or several disks and heat related issues are expected.The read write speeds are version 2.0, which is in a way good, to service old disks which were not designed to high speed seek and write.I wanted to recover some HDDs from failed desktops which are almost a decade old.If you need to use USB 3.0 HDDs go for ORICO products , which are more than doubly expensive, but sleek.The flip side is that the LEDs provided gives an idea of power ON/OFF and read/write action. There is no fault indication on the LED panel. A couple of disks were not identifiable, but don't know why. Perhpaps, they died a natural death or the motherboard killed them. God knows.THIS IS THE BEST FOR DATA RECOVERY OF OLD 2.5"/3.5" HDDs, SSDs.

True Review .I was Searching for. External Case with Sata to usb, due to i have not used my old desktop HD for 3years. I needed one Sata to USB for 3.5 inch internal HDD. And i found this one it Works good its been 3-4 days it is working good. PRODUCT MATERIAL IS good as compared to others case.Case is full plastic made they have send me an adapter and a USB Cable.The quality of USB cable is not at Good i know the usb cable wont work after 2 months.The usb is 2.0.Such product are Avilable at laminton road for the range of 500-700 but due to lockdown i preferred buying from Amazon because of lockdown.

Guys the product is grate we can use laptop and desktop hdd in one external case that's grate also the price is good but the problem is the charge is not up to mark it make a sound also it heating up very fast the case is a plastic one quality is 5/2 the packaging was not good i hate the local packing of amazon

JUST NOW I HAVE RECEIVED THE ITEM. AND ITS GOOD AND EASY TO USE, ALSO I HAVE TESTED ON MY PC . ITS FINE. AND HELP FULL. BUT I DID NOT GIVE 5 STAR RATING CAUSE ITS JUST DELIVER WITHOUT ANY PROTECTION PACKET. ONLY WITH THE MANUFACTURER PACKET FOUND . HOWEVER MY THE GRACE OF GOD, ITS JUST OK AND FINE.
