Bought for my husbands truck that didn't come with an auto starter. Was easy for him to put in, and works just as good as one that came from the dealer. Worth the purchase! Had for over a year now and still working great.

After reading about this on a Ram group on FB, I took the chance. I was surprised when I had called my local dealer and they said it would be over $700 to install a remote start on my truck, when some have it right from the factory. It seemed like I just needed a new fob and them to activate the software but they made it seem like a big deal. Come to find out with this kit you can use your existing factory fob and besides some quick plug and play on connectors and programming, you're off and running in only like 30 min. On a 1 to 10 difficulty scale to install, I would put this around a 2. (1 is the easiest). If you have access to a 7mm wrench or socket (you can likely use an adjustable or plyers in a pinch), and a PC to program it...you're good. Follow the directions exactly as they state and things go smoothly. Highly recommend for those wanting remote start on a non-OEM remote start Ram 2500 2019-2022.

This does exactly what it says it will do. Took me about 20 minutes in total. Installation was super ez. As for the programming don’t let that discourage you from getting this. Just follow the instructions to the T. Even if they don’t make any sense at first. Download the software. do the steps and you are all good. It was easier than I thought it would be.
