Transformers Toys Studio Series 65 Voyager Class Bumblebee Movie Blitzwing Action Figure - Ages 8 and Up, 6.5-inch

SS-65 Blitzwing keeps the stellar presentation of the Studio Series' voyager class Bumblebee movie reps. Spot on sculpting, great colors, and a fairly unique transformation scheme for an otherwise standard jet-to-humanoid robot. He's well articulated to boot, with little bonuses that help him feel really dynamic - double jointed elbows, ankle tilts, and adjustable wings. He also includes two accessories; a hefty cannon that tabs almost flush with his arm, giving the illusion of built in weaponry, and his "voice box remover", which you can swap out from his standard left hand.His most notable flaw is that his jet mode is a fictional hybrid plane, obviously to avoid having to pay for licensing the likeness of the F4 Phantom. It doesn't really show in robot mode, but if you've got a thing for real-world alternate modes, it definitely won't cut it. Also worth mentioning is that his upper body is mostly held together by two pegs that attach into the rear of the shoulders from his backpack. Though I haven't had any problems with him staying together, others have, so this is likely up to the QC of your toy.Overall an excellent take on the movie design with a few issues that are only a problem on a case-by-case basis. Definitely worth the standard voyager class price, even better at $26.

Blitzwing finally arrives from the Bumblebee movie in fantastic fashion just like he does in the movie. The joints are nice and smooth, the detail is amazing, and the accessories (A cannon that fits perfectly on his arm and hand, and a Alternate hand) are just what you need for take out any Autobot or their voice box.He does have a few little design flaws in my opinion. The back plate doesn’t feel like it fully pegs in at times to the upper chest, and nothing really holds the upper chest in place but the back plate.Over all though he is amazing and you will not regret it.

This figure looks great in pretty much every way, but once you start actually playing with it, the allure kind of falls apart.Despite the beautiful design of the Transformer and the fantastic presentation. The top part of this figure unfortunately doesn’t really click into anything during robot mode so it tends to immediately unravel the second you move the arms up or down. The vehicle mode is actually pretty cool as long as you look at it from the top. The bottom is the total mass of kibble. Overall though I really do like this figure and it’s definitely not my list of most shameful additions to my collection. I think this figure does a lot of things right and I enjoy it immensely despite its issues.

I bought him late, so his price was at $50 when I got him. For this price, I won’t recommend him unless you really like him or really need him to finish your Bumblebee movie collection. But, besides that, he is a very good figure which details will pop nicely with some added paint.

The box came a little damaged, but thankfully the figure came out intact.I was looking forward to this figure a looooong time ago, Blitzwing is such a good representation of how the seekers should have looked like in the previous movies, but seeing him with the rest of the figures in the studio series line feels so good!A solid figure, great painting, we just need to be careful with the transformation as always.Great figure 10/10

Great figure and perfect for the price much cheaper than big bad toy store or any other retailer.

Arrived on time and in perfect shape. Not a single ding on the box and the toy itself looks cool. Transformation is perfect mix of complex and fun.
