These are my favourite crochet hooks. I learnt to crochet during lockdown and have since tried many different kinds of hooks. Metal plastic, handmade, ones with handles ones without. These are by far my favourite, so comfortable to hold and use for long period of time, hard-wearing and glide well through the yarn whichever size is used. I'll definitely buy them again

As a 30 something year old crocheter, I do not NEED ergonomic, however they are super comfortable to hold, with a good grip and easy muscle control needed to hold them. I have multiple sets of hooks but these quickly became my favourite go-to hooks for every project. I have now purchased the whole set and donated my others to my mum.These hooks have a good inverted hook at the top which makes grabbing the yarn easy and holding the stitches faultless. The material the hooks are made from means the yarn (whether it is acrylic or natural fibres) glides easily across the hook as you work. Furthermore, the rubber design on handles is pleasing to the eye and hands. These hooks are snag-frrr design meaning you will not pull threads in your yarn whilst using them. An added bonus is that the hooks are colour coordinated to different sizes in rainbow/size order which only adds to the joy they bring! Sizing of hooks is moulded into the handle for ease rather than printed on and this means the sizing doesn't wear off after prolonged use like many other hooks I've owned.All these points are exactly why I love them.

Good hooks. Bit sticky when using with some yarns but rubbing with a bit of silicon does wonders

This set of 5 Prym Ergonomic crochet hooks is presented nicely in a colour coded box that makes for a lovely present.They are a good shape, nice colours, comfortable to use and come in a standard range of sizes.The smaller sized set I bought included 3.5mm, 4mm, 4.5mm, 5mm and 6mm and is already being put to good use, but PLEASE NOTE that the 6mm actually measures more like a 6.5mm.I do like the deep head and decent head point which are great for BLO and FP, BP or MP… I am finding them good for use with Roving Wool yarn.I read in a couple of descriptions that these are for WOOL… and I wanted to test them to see if that really was necessary to know. It’s true… because these hooks are made from ACRYLIC, they don't work at their best with acrylic yarns… friction and squeaking are an issue and I wouldn’t recommend them if you only use acrylic yarns.When it comes to WOOL and COTTON and other natural fibres, they are lovely to use. The longer necks are great for stitches that involve multiple loops and my speed is good with these hooks.They are a welcome addition to my large collection of crochet hooks and I may look for the inbetween sizes that didn’t come in this set because I do work mostly with natural yarns.

These hooks are comfortable to hold and generally they are smooth to use. They do 'catch' on some yarns, in spite of the metal parts being very smooth with no burrs. (I think that can be said of most everyday hooks.)

Excellent product, so easy to handle, great on yarn slides through so easily, fantastic value for money. I have lots of problems with my hand Arthritis etc and these hooks make it so much easier to work. Arrived very quickly. Would highly recommend this seller. 💯 Axxx

Look and feel great, but they stick to the wool, almost like they are too smooth. Like squeeky clean hair when it's just been washed!

Absolutely love this set. Can use the hooks without experiencing any pain for hrs, which was not the case with the aluminium traditional hook set that I initially purchased. I’m a returnee after a 40+ yr absence. So I’m tending to crochet with chunky & super chunky yarn, so this set with the larger hooks is perfect for me. The hook part on all my hooks are very smooth, so no catching of yarn. The yarn glides smoothly over the hook. The hooks don’t get warm, because they are made from plastic, therefore they insulate, rather than transfer heat. They are longer than a traditional set, and can be used both pen & knife style comfortabley.
