Great transparent paints for easy painting hacks
I've been using these paints for various things throughout the past few years and people really looking to paint miniatures need a good set of transparent paints. Creating non-standard metallic colors by applying these over metallic paints, creating osl effects, blending two colors closer together, etc are all important things when painting miniatures that are made easy with transparent paints and the color range you get for the price of these is crazy. The mini's above I used both the red and yellow from this set to create the effect of red shiny armor and flames. Plasma fluid, blood, orange, and green are especially my favorites.

Brush or airbrush, an amazing product.
These were highly recommended to me from multiple sources, and after giving them a try, I understand why. They work perfectly as a glaze right out of the bottle, and you can thin them to work as a wash or ink. Good, even coverage, great color. They dry to a slight glossy finish, and I recommend using a varnish/sealant over them when you're done.

Fantastic stuff
Excellent colours and coverage. These work best as a "filter" over base colours to add depth and vibrancy. They are transparent, so its important to use them over appropriate base colours. The red and plasma fluid blue are worth the price alone for this set. They dry glossy, so will need a top coat to dull them if that's unsuitable for the finished model.

Some better than others
I bought these primarily to colour transparent spell effects on pre-painted miniatures. I've tested almost all of them at this point and have really liked many of them. I used golden yellow to brighten up some bamboo terrain I'm painting. The oil discharge is a good black wash and the purple shade worked perfect over Army Painter Plate Metal metallic paint to create a purple metallic armour for a friend's miniature. That gave me an idea to use midnight blue over metallic paint for a blue armour and that's where the disappointment came in. The very first stroke was a beautiful blue. After that, it's just been black with no trace of blue. I'm not sure what happened. I was pretty disappointed because it looked so nice at first. Still, most of the colours turned out quite nice and I look forward to gettting use out of many of them. Now if I just had some reason to use Plasma Discharge...

Way better than you think they are going to be
Very impressive and easy to use. Great as a final highlight on a near finished model. Works amazing at changing the color of transparent plastic parts (i.e. like the ones in the DnD Nolzur series).I found these are also handy if you accidentally over shade and area, you can brighten it up easily and quickly.

Hard to beat!
Other than being glossier than I'd like I gotta 5-star this stuff. Gorgeous vibrant colors, and looked great when straight onto a black primer. Win! And the price... Nobody in their right mind could complain about Badger pricing!

Sticks to Stencil
I used masking tape to make a stencil to airbrush a design onto a project. When pealing the tape off, it began pulling the paint off the project's surface as well. I had to take a craft knife and cut the paint to separate the tape from the paint. This doesn't happen at all with enamel and acrylic paints. Also, this quickly dries in the airbrush nozzle and causes frequent clogs. So it take a lot more time to paint and change colors than with other mediums. The end result looks good, it's just a hassle getting there.

Great price
I wanted to try these out and the great deal I had here pushed me into buying them. Good product, you can do so much great stuff with these paints. Google videos about them, some great airbrush guys and gals out there can show you some awesome paterns and uses.
