4PC Saltwater Love Wish Akoya Pearl Oyster with Pearls Inside (6-8mm, 4PC)

My grandkids loved these! They took them out to the driveway to open. They do have a smell but not terrible. It takes some work to open them but it was worth it. The kids were thrilled to find the pearl inside. They were beautiful. Good teaching opportunity.

kids were 10,14 and 36 - they all liked them the pearls were nice better than I expected - I would not go with the many multi colored one just stay with the ones that have 4 or 5 shades - my one Grand got a black pearl - just got my Val. day order fun cheap gift - I think you get a lot of fun for the money -- ask again next week--- ps do a little homework so you can explain how a pearl grows and what mother of pearl is -

It seems as though the good pearls have been taken and replaced with non smooth and odd shapes “seconds” to be purchased. It was still fun, and for the price I shouldn’t complain.

Got these due to the reviews but the oysters had obviously already been opened and the dyed pearls placed inside. I wanted real authentic pearls not dollar store party favors. Guess you really only can get these in the islands, everything else is fake.

It was a lot of fun getting the pearls out. Be careful of sharp edges and honestly I didn’t expect them to smell so bad. But still very unique. Also, once you have the pearls you can make jewelry if you wanted.

1 of the oysters was fresh the others old dried and already opened. Beautiful pearls but we were disappointed.

There is real perals inside. Never knew these existed till I seen these on Amazon.

Oysters are old, rotting, dried out and smell. Pearl is just placed in and oyster glued shut. No instructions. The pearls are really pretty and I did not tell the kids “it was all a bit fake” so they had fun. Not sure how long the pearls will last as quality all seems cheap.
