I've been using Ecos laundry detergent for years now, and I've been decently satisfied with the results. I feel as though you never know the quality of effective cleaning when you buy something that is marketed as more natural, but I had a high hopes for this dishwasher gel.I typically go with Seventh Generation, but I was not able to source it as usual, so I bought the Ecos brand. I was shocked at how ineffective it has been. I scrape and scrub plates before putting them in the dishwasher, and despite this, each load had items that had food stuck on them and simply were not clean. I never had this issue with the Seventh Generation dishwasher gel. With the Seventh Generation brand I was able to fill the detergent area only halfway full in the entire load would come out sparkling clean. With the Ecos brand I tried half full, a quarter full, and full all the way, and each time the results were terrible. I made sure that the rinse aid was loaded and good to go, but nothing helped. Very disappointing!

Works as described.

Every couple of years I try and find "greener/safer for you and the planet" products. My family and I have alot of medical issues like allergies, asthma, and eczema which is how this pattern began with me almost 2 decades ago. My latest find is this dishwasher liquid which I think is only 1 of 2 products approved by RFK Jr's app for not having harmful chemicals. Previously I used those Dawn dish pods that worked miracles on dirty dishes but are apparently bad for your immune system. This product that I have used for several months is not so great because I basically have to rinse all of the dishes until they are free of food especially anything with grease. I already hand wash the silverware and then run it in the dishwasher so that wasn't new, but I did one night just put the silverware in without a rinse and they were not at all clean after the wash. SO probably this stuff is good for my body but requires more pre-washing than anyone wants to do. I will continue to use this product because of the medical issues I have to deal with but I will be on the look out for something that actually works like it should.

This works well in my dishwasher and does not emit any toxic odors. Claims to be eco-friendly and leaves no taste or residue - great value for the money!

Awful! Ruined my silverware! It tarnished my spoons so badly there’s grey streaks on them and rainbow looking tarnish spots too. This is new silverware I bought 1 year ago. Ugh! So dissatisfied in this product. Will be contacting the company and throwing out the 2 bottles of Ecos. .

While I’m not sure if this was worth the money. I can say that it cleans nicely.

I’ve been using this brand for awhile. We are allergic to most fragrances - even the natural ones like lavender. No smell at all from dishwasher when I use this. Dishes are clean, occasionally a piece of silverware isn’t. Not sure if that’s the machine or the soap. My daughter has eczema so she has to wear gloves or use dishwasher. This was life changing. Took a long time to find an unscented brand. Not a bad price either.
