Some people like to make there own and that okay when I got time I make my own it okay to cheat some time

My first time NOT making my own. This stuff is pretty decent not gone lie. Cut me a little time. I did not follow the instructions lol, but it still turned out sooooo good. My family loved it.

I liked it due to it take the work out making the roux yourself, just add water to it and your spices and whatever else you're adding. Just make sure you shake the jar well.

The only seasoning I use for my Gumbo. It tastes just like I made the Roux myself.

I don’t use dark roux often. I make duck and andouille gumbo a couple of times a year. So I’m not an expert and my experiences making really dark roux have been hit-or-miss. This product works every time, takes almost no effort, and with it I can make delicious gumbo without worrying that I’m going to screw it up. I use about 8 oz for a huge 3-duck pot of gumbo, so this roux costs maybe 30 cents per serving? Unless you’ve been making roux for years and never fail at it, why would anyone not use this?

Ordered for a gumbo. Was good just didnt kniw to mix prior to use so all the oil that seperated went in before i realized 😅 gumbo still was good as 😚 👌
