12 Pack - Schmidt easyFLOW 9000 - Black Ink

Ok this is simply one of the best inks out there in my opinion! I use Visconti Pens for the most part, and they are prefect for the ball points! Use them daily and keep a stock in my desk on hand for refilling. Smooth writing over all, and frankly it just works nicely for me. I think ink is a very individualized thing. Its texture/sensory and we all vary from person to person. But I have lent my pen to someone so they can just try it, a nd lets face it what makes the pen is the feel of that tip. And Schmidt nails it!! I can place this refill in my 350 dollar Visconti and feel its doing the pen plenty of justice! Not letting me down at all. I don't get the start and stop of ink as many lessor inks do. I use Visconti Ink as well, I've had some Visconti ink refills do less of a job than this ink refill, but then I have had a few Visconti's I feel out preformed the Schmidt, so its kind of a hit and miss between the two, if you take the best of them both and put them side by side, they both hold up very well. A great Visconti refill will out perform the Schimdt easy flow, by just an edge.... again in my own opinion.Now ALL this said, the paper quality absolutely matters!! Remember if you want the pen and ink to perform, make sure your on the right stage to allow it to! I never ever use cheap paper, paper is key as well. So yes all things equal these Schmidt refills Hold their own!! Love them! Actually my first buy of these was not here on Amazon it was in a pen store where I bought a Visconti (very cool store by the way up in the DC Mall) and was going to go ahead and grab a few extra refills just because I was standing there, and the sales lady turned me on to these. Man am I glad she did! I am still one of those people who writes notes rather than types - it "plants" the information better in my head and for many years I've liked the Parker refills and pens. I bought some pens for my business to pass out and the refills were terrible - they dragged, scratched, and clawed their way across paper. I ordered these and use them in pens I personally use (not the give-aways, makes the gifty a little more expensive than I'd like) and LOVE them!!

I had a pen sent to me with one of these inserts, which I liked. Since many of my pens use Parker-style inserts I decided to buy a bag of these.These put down a nice fat smooth line with low effort. Drying time is an issue but it’s not super irritating. I draw out a 50 row table with 3 column lines most every evening and I don’t get ghost lines with these even when working pretty quickly.Probably the biggest negative is getting these inserts going in the first place. I’ve been supremely frustrated about half the time (2 of 4) during the first day with a new refill just refusing to get the ball wet & rolling. After that first day, no problems.

Best writing refills. Work flawless in any Parker pen.

I found one of these in a pen I tried at the Baltimore Pen Show and really liked the smoothness; however, after ordering I realized that it is a gel ink refill and not a standard ballpoint pen refill. It's better than a rollerball, but you do have to be careful not to smear it because it is a little 'wetter' than a regular ballpoint. But it is really, really smooth...especially when you're writing on a piece of heavy smooth paper. I highly recommend these, but know it is gel ink.

I’ll only use this brand of ink. I don’t ever use ball point anymore. The ink is the best and comes in a cartridge, not a ink bottle.

I brought one of these refills to work with me today and it just plain won't write. I've been using the P900 refills and getting along well with them. If this first one is any indication, I won't be ordering these again.

I turn high quality pens and sell them. The refills provided by the kit manufacturer suck, so I always substitute these high end refills. Makes a huge difference to my customers. Use these in all your Parker refill style pens. You won't be sorry.
