The seat post is much longer than the original. It also fits fine on a Specialized ba to ance bike.

Now my daughter loves her Bike again and enjoys it so much more. The seat is nicely padded and doesn't hurt her anymore. And it finally is usable again due to not being to small anymore.I think the prize is fair and it doesn't bother me that I had to pay for it. It is however deceiving By strider to claim the original is for children up to 5 years. My daughter just turned 3 and had outgrown the original.The seat came in perfect condition and was super easy to assemble.Would definitely recommend.

I bought a cheap balance back a year ago for my son (then two, now three). He and I recently did a bike “overhaul” to replace all the worn/ripped components. He’s tall for his age, so I got this XL seat/seat post to accomadate his constant growing.The seatpost diameter is 7/8”. I measured my son’s bike to make sure the seat post was compatible. It fit just right - as it should for most balance bikes. The seat is contoured perfectly to keep my son’s rear in place while striding/gliding.The only frustration I have is how easily the black paint scrapes. By merely twisting the seatpost in place, the black scraped off in several places, showing metal underneath. Not a huge deal, but it took away from my goal of giving the bike a like-new appearance.All in all, it’s a great seat for kids starting to outgrow their balance bikes. This will keep them on the bike another 6 months to a year before needing to graduate to pedals.

Super easy to replace and install

Got this for our child. The seat is wider and softer than what came on Strider bike we got. It was easy to install. Highly recommend to provide a more comfortable seat.

I am glad I ordered the taller seat when I purchased the balance bike. It is larger and more padded than the seat the bike comes with. In fact, the original seat is hard plastic and this one is padded. The seat did arrive with scrapes/scuff marks on the side, not sure if they are from the shipping process or not. Still a great addition, but wish it wasn't scraped.
