Health Behavior: Theory, Research, and Practice (Jossey-Bass Public Health)

Great book.
This book was excellent for learning about different types of health behavior theories (and having examples that followed and made sense for understanding each theory). I like how the book helped me understand each type of theory and explained how or why some theories were built off of other health behavior theories. Great read!

Worked great for the class I took.
Not a fan of the book though. It is a bit difficult to digest without supplemental information.

Worth keeping
If you plan a career in public health, this is the kind of useful and comprehensive textbook that you'll want to keep rather than selling, and refer to it from time to time. It is worth it.

Normal no-hassle transaction
Book came in perfect condition, even a bit earlier than was estimated, which was a great result. All in all a good transaction, would order another book from them in the future.

Nicely done. I use it in my graduate course ...
Comprehensive coverage of the theories of behavior change, with a social ecological framework. Nicely done. I use it in my graduate course I teach.

The content is easy to understand
Book arrived as described and on time. My rating is for the content of the book itself. I find the format confusing with the excessive use of APA citing, but I do understand the reasoning for doing this. The content is easy to understand, but not very engaging. I find myself struggling to get through each chapter. I had to purchase this book for a class.
