HP Color Laserjet Pro Multifunction M479fdw Wireless Laser Printer (W1A80A) (Renewed)

I’ve bought several of these printers for our various offices and they are the best! They are efficient and the quality of the print and scans are great. The ink can be pricey, but there are some quality knock offs at a much lower price if you want to go that route, but the ink lasts long enough, it’s really not much of an issue. I 100% recommend!! Take it from someone who has at least 9 of these printers!

This is a very nice fit for any small business or home office. It looks very nice and works very well. Prints look very professional and well polished.

I've edited my review. I first try to use this printer with wifi. It failed miserably. Went offline constantly and I tried and tried to correct the problem to no avail. HP Support (if you can call it that) is woefully insufficient. I got the idea to then connect via ethernet to my router. VOILA! perfect! (required some furniture moving and some other small changes). The printer works fine and I finally like it. Again, do not buy if you think you can only use wifi.

I double checked to make sure, I ordered the wireless version of this printer. I received the wired version. I decided to get a cat5 cable and plug it in because I could and it was easier than hassling with a return of a big bulky item. It works great, excellent print quality, just not what I ordered.

Having purchased many HP printers and even 3 of this same model, This reburb unit had all the HP Factory feel and look suggesting it was NEW. Once operational, it worked like new.

The only thing I disliked after receiving my printer was the power cord. Image Warehouse Company placed an Italy 3-pin power cord with the printer and my guess is as good as yours how in the world was I suppose to use that kind of power cord into my electrical wall outlet. So I had to go to Wal-Mart that same night and get an Universal Power Cord for computers and printers and “luckily” they had only “ONE” in stock. I do understand I ordered an refurbished printer but the company can at least do better with checking the power cords making sure you can use it in your electrical wall outlet, but other than that the printer works fine after purchasing the “RIGHT” power cord.

This renewed printer arrived in an unmarked brown box, surrounded with foam padding. Printer looked clean overall with couple small black streaks on the sides. Included was a power cable. Already used page count was 685 and came with original HP toner. I was able to print a clean test page and using the flat bed, scan documents in b&w and color. Wired LAN worked great, but have not tested wifi yet. Unfortunately while trying to test the ADF feeder is where things failed. ADF was not wanting to feed correctly and started grinding gears and jamming with just a single sheet of fresh paper. This grinding extended to each time the unit was power cycled as part of it's self test. Therefore, unit is being returned.

I use this printer to print our personal business/farm records. I’m a technophobe and after it was installed for me I find it very easy to use!
