Absolutely fantastic ties
I bought these a while back thinking they'd be useful, but then never got around to using them much because I didn't feel up to delving into the deep depths of my cable/wire maze. Recently however I moved and fell in love with these things. I wrapped up almost every cord/cable/wire in my place and they worked perfectly every time. Even used one at almost full extension (only ~1/2 inch overlap) around the knobs of a cabinet to hold it shut and it didn't even budge. Now as to the mechanics of these ties. It comes in two rolls- one each gray/black. The ties are end to end, with a perforation so that a sharp tug separates them fairly easily. They are each around 8 inches long, with a slightly narrowed (and rounded) tongue at one end and a small ovalish cutout in the material at the other end. The tongue fits through the slit whereupon you can cinch it nice and tight before sticking it down. The velcro is present on the whole length of the tie so you can use it around something as small as a pencil or as big as it will go (quite the lump of cables in my experience), and it will hold just as well. Also due to the velcro being all the way down it, you can wrap the unused tail around and around till it ends and it all sticks - no piece waving off to catch on something. I'm emphasizing this point because I've had velcro straps come with equipment before where the two sides of velcro were only on certain pieces such that you could only use it on a very limited number of sizes - and were usually left with a trailing piece. These are unbelievably better. If you have any cable management issues, you owe it to yourself to buy a pack or two right now!

Great for neatening the house
We're geeks with gadgets and computers everywhere, including our living room. These are inexpensive yet tough little velcro ties that are easy to use and easy to undo. In the past we've used zip ties (kinda permanent and have to be cut when you move things, plus pretty ugly), rubber/plastic cable covers/mats (expensive, ugly, only work on the floor, and ... ugly), and electrical tape (dumb idea!). Yeah, we'll stock these velcro ties FOREVER at our house. They have a slot so you can make a loop to attach them to one of the cords, so that they'll stay in place, plus they can be left attached in multiples to make them longer or you can just overlap them. Can't imagine anything more versatile or easy to use.Very useful, incredibly handy, and they've made our high tech areas so much neater! Well, folks still know we're geeks, but at least we're neat geeks!

SUPER convenient!
There’s a reason you’re looking for these, and it’s most likely to manage/store your cables. Let me just tell you that they’re absolutely worth it, incredibly convenient, and work super well. I used to buy rolls of knockoff Velcro and cut them to size, but they were just never anywhere near as good quality. These are built to last. They work very well, they stick well when you need them, and the packaging makes it really easy to grab just one. No cutting involved either! They’re perforated and make for an easy cable tie.Buy these. You won’t regret it. They’re inexpensive, they get the job done, and they’ll make your life easier.

Great value - very thin, which is a benefit in some applications
At first I was a bit disappointed by the [lack of] heft of these ties, as they are thinner than traditional Velcro wire wraps. These svelte ties can be cumbersome to use much like extremely thin tape can be difficult to handle, often sticking to each other in a tangled mass. Where the user can accept such limitations, these ties offer great value for many applications. The pliability becomes an asset in applications where hairpin loops are needed. One good example is bundling a laptop security cable. This type of Velcro tie does an excellent job of capturing one side of the somewhat rigid steel cable bundle and pulling it towards the other side. This effectively compresses the round bundle into a more manageable oblong one.The lack of color is another issue. In some situations, it provides a cleaner look whereas in others in hampers visibility. Overall, these ties are complementary to other cable management tools. Given the price is so reasonable, it makes sense for both the professional and hobbyist to have these around just in case they are needed.

The Best $3 Ever Spent!
These cable ties are an incredible value. These work just as well or better than the cable ties that cost 10x as much. They are thin and manufactured economically, but they are still strong and get the job done. These ties are perfect for tidying up loose cords, cables, wires, or even string or small rope such as para-cord. I mainly use these ties for electric/gadget cables and they are perfect for the job. I end up with neat little bundles instead of a big mess or loose cables.Pros:----------------------+ Cheap, Large Quantity+ Thin (Low Profile) Yet Strong+ The Whole Length of the Tie Has Gripping Velcro+ Perfect Size for Many ApplicationsCons:----------------------- They don't automatically wrap your wire into neat bundles for you.- They don't make you coffee in the morning.Other Thoughts:----------------------Get them, you won't be disappointed.

Does what it is supposed to do
I use these mostly to wrap music cables. But they are super handy elsewhere too. They hold well. They are easy to install. you can wrap them in a way that allows them to remain attached to the cable when not wrapped. I tend to install / wrap them so that the hook surface side if facing inward, and the soft side is exposed. This helps prevent it from getting caught on other things. You get quite a few for a reasonable price. This is the second package of these I have purchased. I'm sometimes reluctant to just throw out five stars, but I can't think of any reason not to. They work. Glad to have them around. Other colors might be cool.
