Really works - highly recommend!
These saved my new favorite shoes and kept me from having to buy new ones, so they are 100% worth the price.I am pregnant and work as a teacher, and my old shoes were causing pain at work, because they are rigid (made of leather) and my feet had increased a full shoe size. Finding shoes that fit has always been a struggle for me due to narrow feet and extra-narrow heels, so after striking out with online orders, I finally went to a brick-and-mortar shoe store. I picked out a new pair of shoes that are ergonomic, support my arch well (it can collapse during pregnancy), and will still fit even when my feet swell, since they have a mesh upper. Also, there are no laces or straps, so I don’t have to bend down or sit to put them on. Perfect pregnancy shoes! They were $140, which is what I would normally pay for nice shoes that I expect to be able to wear every day for a few years.Well, the first day wearing them, my feet felt so much better... except for one spot underneath the ball and pinky toe of my left foot, which felt irritated, like a blister might develop. I tried a few different socks over the next few days, and it didn’t help. I was so worried I’d have to start all over with my search and drop yet more cash on another style of shoe. I decided to try these first. They were tough to get into position because my insoles are not removable - I cut one in half, placed it, wore it for a day, and it helped a lot, but didn’t cure the problem, as there was still a small spot rubbing my foot. So then I had my husband (who has bigger hands) place the other half in front of the sticker I had placed, with a little overlap... and that cured the rubbing problem instantly. I no longer have any irritation in that spot, and no blister ever developed. And since it comes in a 2-pack, if it ever comes off, I’ll be able to reapply the sticker in the exact same spot without spending any more money. (If you also have a big spot on your foot that gets irritated, I don’t recommend cutting the sticker, since it worked best for me when both halves were placed right next to each other.)

No more blisters = Happy feet
Amazingly effective! I have been on a bit of a mission to get in better shape this year. On average, I walk between 4-6 miles every other day. The problem has been terrible blisters on my left foot. Have switched shoes, experimented with zero drop shoes, extremely padded shoes, special socks, powders, new-skin spray, everything I could think of - nothing worked! Then in desperation, and fearing that all the hard work of the past few months would be for naught, I did an online search for blister prevention - and stumbled across ENGO Blister Prevention. This really was my last shot at finding a way to continue walking. I followed the installation directions to the letter, and set out for a walk. (Note: The patches don't look like much when you first remove them from package) Honestly, I was extremely skeptical, and kept waiting for the first sign of blistering. The miles passed by and.....nothing! No blisters, No pain! 6 miles! No blisters! Hard to believe the solution is so simple, and works so well - but it is....and it does.

They work well but have a short life.
These worked well in my hiking boots. The only problem I had was they started to come off the boot after just a couple of wears. If they were priced a lot cheaper, it would not be a problem for me to change them out once a month but at the price, I feel like it should stick better to the boot.So yes, they work and I never got blisters. But they are expensive for how long they last.

Integral Part of My Blister Prevention
Ordered a new set of these in advance of purchasing a new pair of shoes. I race walk and prior to using the Engo Blister Prevention Pads, I would start to get a hot spot at about 10K, further than this I would get a blister on the ball of my foot. I added the blister pads to the insoles of my shoes and haven't gotten blisters even up to half marathon distance. The pads lasted the lifetime of the shoe. When the shoe needed replacement (about 1 year for me), the pads were beginning to show a little wear. (The pads showed white areas where the anti-friction coating wore through.) So if you keep your shoes a long time, you may want to check the pads to see if they need replacement. This is an excellent product that works as advertised.

Great idea. Not that functional.
Good idea, but they don't stick or stretch that well. You have to be REALLY careful when putting your feed in the shoes to not pull them off the heel.

6 months - Still walking and no more soreness or blisters
For some reason, as I get older the skin on the ball of my foot gets sore easily. Even after just 3 miles of walking at 3.5 mph, I feel blisters forming, whether it's in my hiking shoes or my Asics sneakers. It's even worse when very hot out or when walking faster. It got to the point that I wanted to ditch exercising altogether. Googled around and read about these. They not inexpensive but the description of the solution made sense - friction causes blisters, if your sock slips on the patch, then your foot doesn't rub against the sock. I"ve now using in the same sneakers for 6 months, walking 2-3x a week for 2-4 miles. The patches are still firmly in place iin my sneakers and they have virtually eliminated the soreness and blisters. I know they work because I pulled out my hiking shoes and thick socks that I haven't worn for a year (no patches) and went for a 4 mile walk (preparing for a summer hiking trip). I hobbled back home with that old familiar soreness in the ball of my left foot, and a blister then appeared shortly. Came back online to buy a pair for my hiking shoes now and thought it was time to write a review.

I received one patch in an opened packet which cost me $16. Shameful!
