Thanks to covid, we are mostly stay-at-homes and careful. We have food delivered. But we can't count on our grocery stores to have the variety we used to be used to, if you know what I mean. So when we discovered this particular Krusteaz cake, with its delicious flavor, its light texture and its heavenly scent of oranges and blueberries, we were hooked and ordered it from Amazon by the carton, so we wouldn't run out. This cake is just as good as the best bakery cake.

I love these muffins. When I make them, I substitute melted butter for half of the oil. They taste richer and they are easier to remove from the paper liners I use. I live alone and store uneaten muffins in a plastic bag on the counter. On subsequent mornings, I can heat muffins in my toaster oven for a couple minutes and they taste as fresh as when first baked. They taste so much better than purchased ready-made muffins at a much reduced cost.

4 stars for the flavor - great orange cranberry flavor and easy to make.Box: This mix made 10 regular sized muffins. I used a cookie scoop to measure and filled the muffin wells of a USA brand muffin tin 3/4's full. There is no way this makes a dozen.In the end you could tell these were from a box and there were some hard pellets in the finished product. They had a very fine crumb almost like it was cake flour. Not the texture of any muffin I have ever tasted. The muffin was so soft when peeling off the paper the muffin broke in half.An overnight under a glass cake dome softened these muffins even more.I haven't decided whether to donate the other 11 boxes in the case.

This mix makes an amazing loaf bread, that has become a favorite year round. I use the recipe on the back directions (in fine print) for a glaze, adding a bit of orange zest, and I add ~1/3 cup of reconstituted dried cranberries to the batter before cooking, just because I love them. This is a favorite for breakfast, dessert, or welcoming new neighbors !

Great flavor, very good value, I mix 2 boxes at a time and it makes 3 loaves of bread they don't last long as everyone loves it. I add in nuts sometimes and bananas to make different flavor variations
