liked building, good on line instructions and a downloadable pdf file.cons: first build code for running car has major errors, ie will not run forward or backward,have to edit the code to work properly.perhaps someone should check the code or make sure the motor leads are the right way round,the leads are keyed so can only go one way.

I have received the kit today, and I started building the car in order to proceed coding it and see how it looks, but I didn't find any battery with it.I don't know it I would suggest it but, check it all before you start using it, it would be simple to return it if something is missing.

Gear box stuck. After doing assembly, when I started, only 1 wheel moved. The other wheel connected to gear box is stuck. Faulty product. Pls help exchange or replace part.

The first two lessons went very well. However, on lesson 3 (line following) by the time we have it calibrated the 9v battery doesn't have enough power to drive the motors. We have double checked all of the wiring, it's all good. I'm using brand new Duracell batteries and I've gone through 4 of them already - I have build an Arduino robot similar to this and had no problems, my guess is the combination of the power drain of the 5 channel IR sensor, the motor driver, and the 2 motors is too much for a 9v transistor battery to drive.Update: After consultation, I used one of their rechargeable 9v batteries, wow, what a difference! I bumped up review from 2 to 4 stars, make sure you use their battery.
