I love this beautiful lamp. It was very carefully packaged and it was genius how the shade fit into the package and you think it would be wrinkled but in a few seconds it is a perfect shade on a gorgeous lamp.

I chose this lamp over others that were of a similar style and size because I felt it was of a heavier, more substantial quality. I am so pleased with my choice. This lamp provides the perfect amount light for use on my nightstand. The size also lends itself for many other uses as well.

I purchased the x2-pair of "gold" lamps for $60.PACKAGING: (4 stars) Box arrived on time, in good condition. Have a vacuum handy for the styrofoam.LAMP BASE: (5 stars) I love the base. No issues. It's sturdy, and has enough weight to allow the chain to be pulled without tipping over. The "gold" color is more like "brass" (but I prefer that).Some of the reviews complain about the height being small, but they may not have checked the dimensions before ordering. (PRO TIP: keep a small tape measurer handy when shopping online!) I use the lamps on my bedside tables, and the height is good for that.The pull chain is quite satisfying! Feels like a nice, hardy "ka-click". As other reviews have mentioned, it does make a "ding-ding" noise if you pull it forcefully. I pull them gently, straight downward, and I don't get too much noise. A crafty person could overcome that.CORD: (3 stars) Cord is black. Not a deal-breaker, but for 60 bucks, the wire sheathing should be clear. Other folks probably won't care.SHADE: (3 stars) Okay, we gotta talk about these shades. This is where you save money on table lamps. Attaching the shade frames to the covering is a little cumbersome. You might have success straightening them with some weights on them overnight. And be sure to attach the frames PERFECTLY, otherwise the lamp shade will be crooked. Took me 2-3 attempts, and several curse words. Not impossible, but can be frustrating, especially if you're assembling them right after getting home from work.The lamp shade material for the "gold" base is thin. There is evidence of a few air bubbles, and some glue marks, on the hemmed seams at the bottom. You'd have to inspect them to see, so I'll keep my score somewhere in the middle.Personally, I don't think the vertical seam is bad at all! The material for the "black" lamp base appears to be thicker, so the material may have a pronounced seam. For the "gold" lamps, just treat that seam like a naughty boy and turn it around to face the wall.Overall, I'm satisfied. 3.7 stars.

I just received this lamp. I opened the box, read the directions (another reason to read directions!) and immediately arranged to ship it back to Amazon. I didn't bother to remove any of the contents from the box. Why? Because not only do you need to assemble the lamp base, which I don't mind and have done before, but YOU HAVE TO ASSEMBLE THE LAMPSHADE!! Yeah! The directions include how to put together the wire frame for the shade and then how to wrap the pre-cut fabric around the frame. NO WAY, NOT DOIN' IT. What if I make a mistake? I'll have to live with it and hate the lamp every time I look at it. I liked this little lamp and was looking forward to using it in my bedroom. The product description had a warning that it's returned often but almost all the reviews were positive. However, nowhere -- not in the product description/information nor in the reviews – was there any mention at all that the buyer must put together the lampshade. No wonder folks return the lamp. So, hopefully, there will now be at least one review that let's people know.

This lamp is perfect for our lunch table in our kitchen. It was pretty easy to assemble—figuring out where the metal rings go to make the shade was a bit tricky, but if I could figure it out, anyone can! It works perfectly. Would recommend it highly. I was very impressed with customer service. Everything was in the box but a small, really non essential piece for the shade. I sent an email to the company to see if they could just drop it in the mail. They said they were not able to but would be pleased to just send a new lamp for replacement.Wrote back and told them it worked just fine and no replacement needed, but very impressed with the rapidity and kindness of their customer service. Their communications were very kind and cordial. American companies could learn a lesson from Oneach.

Good quality for the price. Easy to assemble. Would purchase them again.
