These rulers feel very stiff and sturdy, as expected!Personally, I believe the complaints about sharp edges are a bit overblown.Yes, the edges were cut to precision.Yes, you can probably scratch your skin against the edge of one of these rulers if you aren't careful, but you can also impale yourself with calipers or seriously cut your hand against scissors in one wrong move that are usually laying nearby.These are tools, after all. Basic respect for safety minimizes (but never eliminates) risk of injury.Please use proper safety and child supervision practices when working with tools.

The 12” ruler was bent when they arrived but was easily corrected. It is still a bit flimsy. The 6” ruler is great. I use it everyday as an aircraft sheetmetal mechanic

Handy, useful to compare English and metric units, for those who were raised in the former system.

Some of the ruler ends are off. One is just a little short and one is just a little long. Just enough to be a pain for building model airplanes. The long one i can file down, but the short one can't be fixed. But to me they are not worth sending back. So, I will make do with what I have.
