This is a decent set of punches. Not Snap-On Quality BUT just fine for the occasional home user. Have a 1/8th inch pin holding the slide of a Hi-Point C9 that has to be removed for cleaning/oiling/inspection. Just perfect for that...

Used this once on my piew piew, and it worked fantastic. Pins popped out smoothly, no slips, no frustration, exactly what you want in a punch set. Solid quality too, feels like something that will last forever (or at least until I inevitably lose one piece and spend an hour looking for it).My only complaint? No tiny hammer. Would it have been nice to have? Absolutely. Do I get why it’s not included at this price? Also yes. I guess I just wanted the full “piewsmithing pro” experience without having to raid my toolbox for a mallet.Final verdict: Well-made, works great, and should outlive me, assuming I don’t misplace it first. If you’ve got a hammer handy, you’re golden.

Variety of punch sizes at a good price

Well made and irreplaceable if you need to remove or replace an indented-head pin. These are nicely blued and strong. Anyone doing gunsmith work needs this set.

Worked for me, the right tool for the job.

With the stepped round head on these punches, they are great for roll pin removal and insertion. No problems and they seem to be strong enough to work with these small pins. These are probably not ideal for heavy use with solid pins since you'd flatten the head on the punches.

This works really well when installing roll pins. The pattern on the handle gives you ease of use without it slipping. These punch are pretty durable and take a beating without bending.
