My daughter works various hours and sometimes she gets home at 10 and have to get back up at about 4 AM. However, my neighbor’s dog loves to bark so this item has come in handy for her. She’s able to get some rest. So I bought an extra one just in case the other one broke.

I am so very disappointed on this product. I was really needing this in hopes it will help me with my little dog. I just opened the package to insert a 9V battery into it and saw the connection full of rust! Picture inclosed - I have no idea why it is so rusty. The package arrived in a small sealed sip-locked bag. The trainer itself is palm-sized and made from very cheap plastic. and has no on\off switch. I bought this for right at $10.00. I will NOT be returning this because I have no faith that they will just repackage it and sell to another unsuspecting soul. I will keep it on hand and make sure I DO NOT by another product from these people. In my opinion, This is a product that deserves a "buyer beware" sticker on it.

Our new neighbor's little corgi would bare teeth at the fence and act like Cujo on the attack. The barking was as if the owners were being slaughtered and the dog was made to watch. If the dog was in the back yard, this is how it acted at all times. My family could not enjoy the back yard AT ALL!!! I was at my wits end and had no clue what to do...then I saw this. I didn't have high expectations for $8, but OMG!!! I purposely put black electrical tape over top of the light on the front, mostly because I didn't want the neighbors to be aware of me using this high frequency device. That turned out to be a wise choice, because I feel as if the dog may have been able to figure out what was making the noise. As it stands, the very first time I ever used it the dog STOPPED immediately and looked aroung bewildered for a few seconds, then went back to his usual gnarly barking. I immediately pressed the button again for just a second and the dog turned around, scared, and ran for the back door porch and sat there QUIETLY! I had to use it for two more separate incidents, each with the exact same result. Since then, we do not have to use this device at all. The corgi is still not friendly, but it does not even so much as peep through the fence at any of us any more!

Don't make the mistake I did and wait days for it to show up, being slowly driven crazy by the NON STOP barking the neighbors dogs are doing, only to find out there's NO battery included. OH, and it needs a certain battery that isn't typically just kept around the house. Why couldn't it use AA or AAA???? Now I have to wait ANOTHER DAY to get batteries on the way home and listen to these dogs non stop barking all night. Lovely. 🙃Is it my fault for not paying attention? Absolutely. Is it aggravating none the less? YEP.

I have used this to stop the dog barking, If I point it at him he now stops but I don't know if the battery is any good or if it is working because he waits until he sees it.

This thing has fixed my broken dog!She is a Mini Schnauzer, and comes from a long line of screamers! Every time the door bell rings, someone knocks at the door, or comes inside, she screams with an ear-splitting pitch and volume. Out rather, screamed. Not after two days of consistent use. Paired with a strong "no," she's transformed into a sedate greeter! Amazing!The Engrish instructions are awful. We were especially nervous to use it at first, as we did not understand the pictograms molded into the side of the device, and the 'instructions'only added uncertainty.After some trepidation, we tried it.There are two switches: on the bottom, a slide switch with 3 positions. On the top, where your thumb rests, is a simple push button.The slide switch positions are, front to back:Just a flashlight. On while you hold the pushbutton.Ultrasound with light solid on while you hold the pushbutton.Ultrasound with strobing flashlight while you hold the pushbutton.We have been using the middle position to great effect.
