We have 3 cats, 2 male and 1 female. One of these three marks spots in certain areas. (They know who they are) This product works well. The smell is gone. We use it on urine, cat throw up. I've even used it in my carpet machine. No problem on walls, tile floors or our carpet. I will say it's not a deterrent. The cat will still pee in the same treated area.

It didn't really stop our cat from peeing in the same place. It smells very strong but is certainly better than the smell of cat urine. My husband liked it because it was easy to use. My husband like this the most. I'm not really a fan for the money. Vinegar is far cheaper.

We got 2 puppies. Which made our cat go crazy. Let me tell you this is the best stuff. Cuts the smell and it doesnt come back. Everytime I shampoo I use it even in rooms I don't need to. I will be buying more.

I used this to clean a 2nd hand carpeted cat tree I bought which reeked of cat urine. I first shampooed it with Hoover pet shampoo solution mixed with hot water (several times). Big mistake. I later found out that hot water makes it worse, which is true. It activates the urine crystals and makes it even more potent. After reading reviews on this product, I gave it a chance. It was decent. But I had to do it 2 times because I first bought the small bottle which was not enough. Instructions say to let it dry for 2 days. After 2 days, you can still kind of smell the urine. But then when you let it fully air dry in about a week, it's much better, about 90% better, neutral. There's only so much you can do, which also depends on the base of the carpet. The scent of the solution is nice and subtle.

I just used this product today on my cat’s urine mistake. It has not had 48 hours to work entirely but the rug already smells fresh. I recommend this product!

This is the only thing I’ve found that actually kills cat stank instead of masking it. The refill is a good value, but the spray bottles are extremely hard to open to refill so I just bought some from the dollar store and have been using those.
