Q: How fine is this compared to table salt? compared to kosher salt? compared to popcorn salt?

I purchased this item based on the responses to this question -- "almost a poweder." But that's not what I received. It's finer than most kosher salt but it's not as fine as table salt and definitely not a powder.

Q: Does it contain plastic

Even the fish we consume contain micro plastics. Where do you think they get it from? It's everywhere, in everything, and the particles are too small to filter. The only thing people who study micro plastics haven't determined yet is whether it's actually harmful to us.

Q: Is this salt hygroscopic? Will it pick up water from air and clump/cake over time?

Comes in a resealable bag so it never has opportunity to pull water out of the air. If you put it in a salt shaker just add a few rice grains to prevent clumping. This works for all salts I've used.
