Very nice rack cooling
Got this after having tried the 1U unit. This one has four 80mm fans that move much more air compared to the 1U unit with smaller fans. Running it on speed 1 or 2 keeps things cool without much noise. Can be easily modified with other fans if you want it to be quiet and don't mind voiding the warranty. You can also flip two of the fans to have one side intake air and the other exhaust air if using it in a small rack. Really love how you can adjust the fan settings and the display is very nice. Hopefully it lasts!

Best solution for home networking
Excellent solution for rack heating. I recently upgraded my home networking and been facing heating issues in the rack mounted in storage room. Probe really helping the heat under the check. Noise levels are not that bad though. Very good option to keep the temperatures under for small networking solutions.

Does everything they claim and looks nice ..
It does everything that I expected and more. There are three modes of operation: (1.) Manual "On"; It stays on until you turn if off (2.) "Auto": It runs until it reaches 2 degrees below the desired temperature setting, then turns back on automatically when the probe reaches the desired temperature setting again. (3.) Smart: It runs at a higher speed until the temperature of the probe is the same as the desired setting. Of course, you can also manually turn the unit off.The fan is relatively quiet during it's full-speed operation. The noise wouldn't be objectionable in most home theater applications, particularly if it was inside a cabinet. You can set the light for the LED panel to either stay on all of the time, or to just light up for a few seconds, then turn off automatically.. Personally, I like to see the lights all of the time, so I set it to come on. I have three of them in a rack, and it looks impressive with all three lit up.The air blows out the front. There doesn't seem to be a way to switch directions of the fan electrically. You might be able to take it apart and reverse the fans-- I haven't tried it. It's put together with screws, not rivets, which is good. In some applications, it works better to have the fan blowing in, but it seems to work well blowing out in most situations. So far, I have nothing bad to say about it. It does what it says it does, and it looks nice. I just installed it, so I can't tell how well it will hold up for the long term. It seems like a quality product, however, and I expect it will last for several years without failure. Because it's assembled with screws instead of rivets, the fans can probably be replaced if they eventually wear out.

Good fan
Looks great andon low speed keeps 10 transmitters cool enough that their fans stay off . Actually took the four fans and reversed them easily so it’s blowing out the back instead of blowing out the front

Keeps our amp racks cool
This is a great product!! I had never seen this before but had the idea to extract the heat out of our amp rack at church. A quick amazon search and I found this product. I wish I would have found it sooner!!!! It probably would have saved us from having to replace a couple amps.

Super, super quiet. Did I mention it is quiet?
I ordered this hoping it would be better than my single AC voltage fan for keeping my small communications and NAS rack cool. The single fan was noisy and the temperature system I had created relied on several things working as they were supposed to. There was no slow speed on the fan, just on when the rack got warm and off when the temp got below the set point.Today is different. Today I received my AC Infinity Cloudplate T7. I had already moved things around in my rack to allow the required 2U of space at the top for this unit so getting it in took only a few minutes. I say a few minutes because I tie everything down, bundle extra wire, hide wiring, etc when I install. If I had just plugged it in I would have been done in about a minute. When I finally got to the point where I was ready to plug it in I expected a turbine engine sound like my old fan. There was none of that. This thing was whisper quiet! It was awesome! I spent about 10 seconds setting the thermostat and setting it on SMART control and done. I then turned off every single noise maker in the room that I could to see if I could hear the fans. Nope. All 4 fans are spinning but I cannot hear a thing.Only time will tell if this unit holds up over the long haul but my initial impression of this thing is fantastic. I wish I had found it sooner.

Works great but I replaced the fans
Overall this device is great. I had to knock off 2 stars though because it's a bit expensive for the actual functionality and the fans themselves have an absolutely awful whine to the point where I had to swap them out quieter ones.

If You're Looking For One, Look No Further!
Here in my little home office, I needed something to keep my Macbook Pro cooler. I have a small 6 space rack unit that I keep on my desk to hold my audio equipment, power conditioner, my Hal 9000 light, and my Macbook Pro sits on the bottom of the rack under the gear. I had a laptop cooler pad under the Macbook that had 3 fans, but it just wasn't doing a good enough job keeping the Pro cool during heavy use. So, I got this 2 u fan unit and let me tell you, it works perfectly! My Macbook Pro still sits on the bottom of the rack but now behind this Infinity unit. I had to open it up to switch the fans around, so it would blow air into the rack rather than out from the rack, but this was easily done and now it keeps my Macbook internal CPU under 120 degrees. I love the digital display and how accessible the buttons are to ramp the fan up and down during use depending on need. If you're looking for one for whatever application. Get this!
