This thing is awesome for just not having to stick your hand in there. Now I just keep a little bucket next to it to dump it in and then ultimately take the bucket to the big trash, super handy.

We had this before and needed a new one, I was unable to find it anywhere else, so I ordered a new one on Amazon. I love how the handle comes up, so you don’t have to reach into a bunch of debris to empty the basket. Also love the easy release open bottom for dumping it. I’d recommend it, it’s pretty sturdy, other baskets we use seem to break much faster.

Working great so far! Just wish it was not dark colored because it makes it really hard to see what’s in it before you reach for it…

I bought this for my Pentair inground pool skimmer. I like having a handle that sticks out of the water. I have had cheaper tower skimmer baskets in the past and they never seem to last more than a year. This one seems much more solid. The button on the handle to release the bottom is a handy feature, and makes it easier to rinse it out. I would recommend this to a friend.

It was well made. Very sturdy. Ergonomic also. Very inexpensive. Our skimmer was older model and this did not fit. Ours was too small to use these. Customer service worked with us and product was returned. I will continue to support this company in the future.

I bought this product about 1 1/2 years ago for the first time. That one lasted a little over a year before the latch that holds the bottom up failed, dumping the baskets contents into my pool filter over and over. After looking at other baskets I bought the DebrisZ basket a second time, this time i also purchasing the 3-year extended warranty for it from Asurion Protection Plan. The second basket, purchased 4/10/19 started failing a few days ago. Same problem with the bottom opening when it shouldn't. When I tried to return it to Amazon they said I only had 30 days return it to them...sorry. The Asurion plan doesn't click in till after the "1 year Mfg warranty is over so no help there. I called DebrisZ at 800-588-4008 and just get voice mail. All this over a 30 day item.The product is great when it works. Unfortunately, based on my experience, it will fail and I expect, like me, you will not get your money back! DON'T BUY THIS UNLESS YOU LIKE WASTING YOUR MONEY.

Anyone with a pool and lots of trees… bugs, snakes etc— this is for you. I abhor sticking my hand into a basket. As an ER nurse that has cared for people who have had copperhead bites from emptying their pool baskets… then this is the basket for you. It’s a game changer and actually takes a hated chore and makes it way better. I bought one to try. Ordering the second one now. Seems solid and not flimsy.

You never know what's lurking in the debris inside the pool skimmer. This basket with the handle alleviates that concern. I've had snakes hiding in the bottom of the basket and this keeps your hands away from the debris. Just lift it out and press the button on the handle to release the bottom lid and your are good to go. Definitely worth buying for your pool.
