I dare say these may be the best grommets ever. Of all grommets ever made, and oh I've seen my share of grommets, these may well be the best of all. Oh and don't think for a second that I'm any kind of grommet-pusher, who is going to tell you that any sort of grommet is wonderful. Oh, no. I am, in fact, a grommet-snob. I dare say these grommets are life-changing in a philosophical and physical way. There is no love such as my love for these grommets. Great quality

I use these grommets for my large garden flags that many times do not come with a grommet to hold the flag on the end. Using these grommets with the general grommet tool kit requires a few practices but you get better every time!My tips: make sure the surface your pounding the grommet on is very solid and sturdy as this is crucial for both the initial hole cutting and actually mounting the grommet. I personally use the flat anvil surface of my bench vise and that seems to work great! Secondly, make sure you don’t punch a hole too close to the end of the fabric your going to put the grommet into. Double check before punching the hole that the grommet won’t hang off the edge of the fabric once inserted because there are no second tries! A heavier hammer or mallet works best for me. Again you may want to waste 2-3 grommets to practice on before your actual item. Cheers!

Worked perfectly

I use a walker in my house and I have five towels on book rings hanging from my walker to wipe my hands as needed or other wipe up jobs. Excellent to install with the kit that I have previously bought from Amazon my handyman does it for me I am 100% disabled veteran, so I need all the help I can get I live alone

Not sure where the problem lies, but this didn't fit my existing 3/8-inch grommet hand tool. The "male" end wouldn't stay on, and the "female" half was too bit to fit into the groove. Very disappointed -- especially considering not sure whether I need a new grommet tool, or new grommets. Ugh!

I had an area where I needed a little curtain, so I got this, but then I also had to have the grommet installer tool. My hands aren’t all that strong, so I had to make sure that I put a lot of pressure on the tool. My son was able to do a much better job than I. Just be careful to align everything and press hard to ensure a straight and even seal. They did the job, and since I haven’t really put in grommets before, I don’t have much for comparison, but they didn’t seem as strong as you might need them to be if you needed to attach something like leather. So I guess I am saying that they are a little on the thin side but would work in many applications.
