Beyond words!
even though beyond words, I'm going to try to tell. I have been using the cheapest blades for years now. Get them by the hundred pack. And since I use a new blade every day. Why should I care if the blade can keep an edge? At least that was my logic. Until I tried these Wilkinson blades.I always did think that after I shave that feeling of roughness on my face, I thought it just normal. And sometimes I cut myself. That is just me being careless. It's not so. Every blade. A knife, a sword, or a razor. Has two main components. The steel and the carbon. Steel is soft and malleable, almost such as copper. And that sure cannot hold an edge. Until you harden it up with carbon. But then it is brittle, and breaks. Those cheap blades have way too much carbon and break ever so slightly just at the edge. After the first pull down your face. After that every single subsequent pull is rough. Wilkinson differ there carbon enough to advert this issue. While keeping enough carbon to hold a sharp edge. It's a very meticulously finicky balance. But these Wilkinson blades make me happy. While only being 25 cents a piece. They make for an undescribable smoother shave. It is so amazing to me after using cheap blades for years, and then finding these. And I don't use a new blade everyday anymore. 3 days, yea. But that is just me wanting a super nice sharp blade. I've seen blades for up to $2 each. But whatever they have to offer me, would be undesirable after accounting for that price. These blades are 25 cents. smile.

Good price for the quantity you get.
I use these for various tasks tying fishing flies which is hard on any blade. The amount you get for the money is a good deal. I used to use these for shaving years ago and they were good. It’s a well known brand for quality and they are made in Germany.

Best double edge blades found so far!
These are the best blades I've found so far. Very sharp for several shaves. Be careful when buying these - there are several different Wilkinson blades made in different countries. There are German made and are the best ones.

Clean these blades after every shave!
These are good for perhaps 4 or 5 shaves, assuming you clean the blade well after each shave. Clean this blade after every shave!

Eco AND skin friendly
I shaved for years using a 3 bladed razor. While I could shave quickly and get the shave really close, I noticed that my skin was irritated and I would occasionally get ingrown whiskers. That's because these razors do exactly what they advertise: cut below the skin line. I really like the shave that the basic 2 bladed disposables give--the Schick ST2 and the Gillette Sensor 2--but just don't like throwing away yet another piece of plastic. I decided to give single blade razors a chance. I bought a Wilkinson Sword. The first shave was kind of brutal. You have to really slow down otherwise you'll cut yourself a lot. In order to get the most out of these razors you have to start to enjoy the ritual of shaving. I bought a good quality shave soap and brush to aid in that end. What I'm seeing is that I do need to keep up on my shaving since the whiskers seem to come back faster (you're not cutting them as short), but my skin looks healthier and I'm enjoying shaving more!

Blades
These are my best razor blades by far!...give a great shave and last longer than most. Others that I have are good for 2 or 3 shaves. These could easily go 5 or 6 days.

Unbelievable
I thought Feather were good, I thought Gillette Platinum were good, I then found out Derby Premium were better, and then the Wilkerson Sword came along…sheesh. Sharpness and longevity is nearly double the Derby Premium (black, not green) label. Buy a nice Edwin Jagger or some other good handle and you’ll never go wrong. Don’t buy the cheap-O black plastic Wilkinson handle though. They make a metal one that’s okay, but hard to beat Jagger
