Simply Organic Vanilla Syrup, Vegan & Nut Free Natural Flavoured Syrup for Coffee, Cocktails & Baking (1 Litre)

I switched to this syrup primarily because of the price, compared with other, more well known products, and in all honesty, the difference in taste did throw me at first. When you're very used to one thing, the subtle flavour differences will stand out more. So don't go in thinking this is a like-for-like replacement of 'better known' brands. This syrup has it's own character, and to my mind, a really good one.The very first thing I noticed was how aromatic it is - opening the bottle let out a gorgeous scent which lingered in the room - I think this only happens when unsealing a bottle, as I've never managed to replicate this with a bottle that's already been opened, but once added to coffee, there is a definite, gentle aroma which enhances the drink.The sweetness takes a little getting used to as well - it's not a cloying, and it still allows the favours of the coffee to come through, but I find that I can be heavy handed in adding the syrup, and it tips over into too sweet (for my tastes) quite quickly. If I used a measuring cup or a pump, then I could regulate this better, but I'm too lazy and too tight-fisted to bother with those, and an over-sweet coffee is a small price to pay!As with any food product, this is going to come down to personal tastes, but I'm glad I made the change, and it makes it so much easier to justify the use of a syrup when the price is so reasonable.

Decent syrup. Recommended if you like to make a mocha.

Been using this in my coffee on a daily basis for a couple months now and no complaints, the vanilla flavour is natural and gentle which is nice for me as it’s stops it from getting boring or sickly. The sugar content is also good for me, I like my drinks medium sweetness and this does just that. The bottle size is great too, it lasts a while and for the price I think it’s good value. If you buy a pump along side the bottle it’s really easy and consistent to use.

I upgraded my coffee habits and found honey to be the healthy addition to drinking coffee at home, but man can't live on bread alone, so I had to find vanilla syrup to get that cafe quality drink.This product favours a more vanilla flavour over sweetener compared to other products.

I don't like synthetic tasting drinks so was looking for a natural ingredients when I found this. The taste is exactly what it should be and you don't need much at all. For the price this is a great buy and I'll order again when it runs out.

This product has 70g of sugar per 100ml. Monin has 83g of sugar per 100ml. I don't know if this is good or bad. Maybe users will just add more? The product has not been opened yet so I have no report on the flavour or aroma I can give now.If I remember I will update the review when I get some feedback.
