I orded three of these lamps, two 20 inch and a smaller one. The diffuser arrived broken on the 20 inch but Amazon replaced it within 2 days and the replacement is fine. These are very low profile LED lamps and put out a good amount of light. I installed one on a circuit with a dimmer switch on the wall and the dimmer switch caused interference with the remote that comes with the light. Changing over to a simple on/off switch on the wall fixed the issues. The remote that comes with the light allows you to change the color of the light (warm vs daylight), the brightness and timer features. You also have a 'nightlight' setting. All are pretty simple on the remote. You have to use the remote that comes with the light to take advantage of the nice features, otherwise you just get the bright daylight setting. Installation is as easy as any other light fixture but this one is substantially less heavy than most. The aluminum base plate is a bit light gauge for my taste...something more stiff would be nicer but not a problem. Avoid the 'dueling dimmer' problem and I think you will be pleased. Also...you need to provide the 2 AAA batteries for the remote. I hope this review helps some who might run into the quirks that I did. The images I included show the lamp in the off, nightlight, bright daylight and warm settings.

I *love* this light. My home office had a light with four directional bulbs and while the bulbs were bright, I felt like only pockets of the room were illuminated. This fixture lights up my room like it's daytime! I love that you can easily switch back and forth between daylight & soft light, adjust the brightness, turn it on night light, and all of this with a remote control. It was easy to install. And it looks really nice. Slim profile, so it would work well with low ceilings. And it looks really nice, too. No metal, so it matches all other light fixtures. I originally saw this in a property I was touring (I'm a real estate agent), and I decided that I would start using these in the properties that I list.

This light is good looking though incredibly lightweight compared to a similar light I bought. That being said this light was much better due to being easily mounted to a standard electrical box in the ceiling . The screws aligned with the electrical box without any need to put anchors into your ceiling .. definitely a plus not to need to put drywall anchors into your ceiling as I attached to electrical box only . The light is plenty bright, the remote is kinda cheap and generic but also works okay. The only real problem is that when dimming the light from highest setting the light makes a noticeable high pitched sound similar to if you experience tinnitus (ringing ears) . It does this very noticeably on first setting down from brightest and the next one below it . Others verified they hear it too. I can’t dim the light to its first step down from brightest due to the constant high pitched sound .. I just leave it on bright or have to dim it to around half brightness .Pros: bright ,easy install, functional remote , includes a ground wireCons: high pitched noise when dimmed with remote

So, remote is broken after 2 weeks of use, actually i didnt use it much but, its broken and non responsive. Other than that, the light itself looks fine and it was easy to installUpdate: So. The white completely went out, only the warm is working, the white is burnt, not sure where they got the 50000 hrs of life span from,

I am thrilled with this light. I needed something big and bright and I thought I would have to trade off "warm light" until I found this. The size would be perfect for lighting a bedroom. We use in a part of the living room which is meant for a dining table. We no longer have a table there, but due to the proximity to the kitchen island, I still wanted the ability to soften the light if needed, or if we chose to move a table back to the space. This light is perfect for that and it looks clean and modern on the ceiling. I ordered the clear and there is no trim which is what I wanted. We didn't do anything special to train the remote-- just added batteries. Not only can I change between three different whites with the remote, I can also dim each one to set the right mood. I especially love the big button on the middle of the remote which is basically the "reset" button so no matter what settings I adjust I can just hit that an be back to normal. The nightlight is a little bright for my taste, but I can see it coming in handy if this light were in a hall bathroom, although our bathrooms are the size that a smaller diameter would be preferred. I've already given it 5 stars. If I could add one thing to enhance it, it would be a wall mount for the remote so that it's always available next to the light switch.

Easy to set up and really bright

It has wide ranges of color and of brightness with smooth independent variation. Excellent where a room has various uses and users. I don't think we'll ever go to the high end on brightness or on color, but it's good to know we're fully covered for whatever room occupants want. I'm using this in a guest room, and different guests will have their own preferences, so this is an ideal solution. Good spread of light around the room (this is the 19" version). The price is so-so but should come down significantly as technology continues to improve and competition increases. This will quickly become a commodity product.
