I had been looking for a simple E27 bulb lamp as I wanted to use it with a smart wifi LED bulb (Shelly Duo ), which is basically full size. Included with the lamp is actually an E27 LED golf ball size but even the full size bulb hardly protrudes. It had been amazing difficult to find just a normal E27 lamp unit. Assembly was not too difficult but I had used the included paper diagrams, it would have been much better if I had come back to the Amazon site and looked at the pictures and video which are much clearer. Works well, stylish, good value and fast delivery.

The look of the lamp is brilliant, it sits nicely on my desk - the base is heavy enough and it was easy to put together - BUT the small bit of wood that is attached to the black base is very poorly attached by 2 small screws, and it took a couple of days with a couple of minor position adjustments of the lamp for it to come apart in my hands - so I exposed the screw-heads in the base (under the soft felt/rubber) and used my own, longer screws to fix the wooden part to the base more sturdily - now the lamp is perfect!

What a fantastic reading lamp! Was looking for something slightly different. It's very sturdy and well made. The company have even enclosed a bulb with it so you're not having to go searching to find the right bulb. Really really pleased so glad I purchased.

The lamp looks good and at first I was pleased with the quality, however after just a couple of months the stand became wobbly, soon afterwards it detached completely from the metal base. The reason is that the screws holding the stand to the base were only 10mm long which, minus the thickness of the base, means only 5mm were holding the wooden leg of the stand. I plan to buy longer screws to fix it but shouldn't have to.

Really good looking lamp , nice and sturdy . Easy to put together and ideal for my bedside table .

Updated - The assembly instructions were rudimentary. I have been kind in my previous comment. I spent a long time trying to figure out what I had done wrong as the lamp's arm would not stand up. I reattached the first block of wood, with the electrical cord, to the other side of the base and that did the trick. It may have been obvious to others. I am certain I am not the only one to have made the mistake as evidenced by other reviews. Someone else has commented upon the amount of polystyrene which comes with the box. It is a fair point. I know it means that the lamp is well protected but there must be another compromise solution. It made for a messy floor when taking the lamp out from the polystyrene. More importantly it is not recyclable from home. Once assembled the lamp seems to work well as it should. If the lamp's arm is not fully extended the nuts loosen fairly quickly and it therefore drops. I like the look of the lamp because it is different. it is a pity that the design of it comes with a few foibles.

Simple, small, nice overall, from the cable quality to the wood. Good value for money

It looks good and it is generally ok but look at it close up and it's poorly made. Specifically one of the cut outs in the wood to fit the tightening screws appears to have been drilled in the wrong place and instead of using another piece of wood they just made a 2nd whole next to it. That's very poor! Luckily it's hidden but it's still poor. Additionally the instructions are useless. There are 2 tiny scres in the wooden arms and I have no idea what they're for, the instructions don't say a word about them. And last but not least there is a small hole on one of the wooden arms with no cover, no screw, no idea what for and it looks ugly.
