I lost my rice measurer that came with my rice cooker. This replacement is perfect

This is way more substantial than the translucent ones that come with rice cookers. I like that it's clear because sometimes I'm not measuring a full "cup." I suppose most people aren't measuring half portions, but my rice cooker will cook a half-cup portion of rice and sometimes I do that. Also, I cook brown rice and I prefer a little more water than the official line for brown rice in the pan of the rice cooker, so I'm trying to get an exact measure of water that I will use going forward, instead of eyeballing a couple of millimeters above the line. It's just as hard to read the measurements on this cup as on my original rice measuring cup. I will have to do like my mother did when she got older & use a black marker to mark the measurements on the cup. The thumb indentation is perfect. I wish it had a small hole in the handle so I could hang it on a nail or hook.

I bought this to use in my laundry beads container. The item is great quality. I accidentally dropped it while opening the package, and it was fine. The issue is that the laundry beads stick to the scoop. I'm still giving it five stars, as the scoop wasn't made specifically for laundry beads (scent boost). I wouldn't recommend it if that's what you're looking for; other uses, yes.

Need extras for each bag of rice. Nice ergonomic grip and feel. Standard measurement for rice cookers; no thought measuring scoop. Great value!

A rice cup for a rice cooker is 3/4 of a standard US cup, so this is the perfect size. I like the handle and it fits nicely in our rice container. I docked one point because the inside was scratched up, but it is still useable for measuring rice.

For 40 years I’ve been cooking rice with the little rice measuring cup that comes with each rice cooker and my fingers were always yearning for a handle. Finally in my older age as I am wanting to spoil myself a little, I searched for a rice cup with a handle and found this. Yay! I love it so much. And it’s such a great price. Now I can give away my collection of handle-less cups and pamper myself each rice making experience. Thanks for who ever made this. You deserve every penny.
