Happy with this pump
I'm using this for a demand pump for my reverse omsmosis system. This pump pressurizes the line outbound to my fridge/icemaker. Works great, but definitely need a small pressure tank on the delivery side to avoid short cycling the pump. It is loud: the pump is in the basement and I can hear it from the main floor. But for the price, it's not bad.

Disappointed
It worked great for a week. Water pressure was really good. But now the pressure starts strong and loses pressure real quick. Very disappointed.

Aquatec Pump good for the price.
Yes easy to assemble, just plug and play. Working great.

This pump is loud!
This pump definitely fixed my low water flow/pressure from my RO system to my refrigerator. However, it is very loud when it runs. My only choice for mounting it was on a common interior wall so we hear it every time we get water from the refrigerator or when it fills the ice maker. It has rubber dampening pads at screw holes but they don't do anything for the noise. I'm trying to figure out if there's an alternate way to mount the pump to fix this.

Meh Its Okay I guess
Still functions sure and operates but its extremely outdated technology, the noise level is extremely high the pump quality is subpar and the ease of installation good luck you need a plumber, the pressure is average at most nothing too great its falls short of good to meh

Great pump for an RO system
We mounted our RO water system in the basement on the opposite end of the house from the kitchen.Because of the distance, the manufacturer suggested purchasing this "booster pump".The pump is somewhat loud, perhaps not so much because of the pump as much as it is screwed into the wall stud & the sound seems to reverb through the house like a piano. We installed a second RO water tank between the pump and the faucet and that helped a ton. The pump now periodically fills that tank - increasing the pressure - and then shuts off. Just like the pressure tank for our well. So most of the time when you are getting water the pump doesn't even need to run, and when it does it runs for a few minutes & shuts off. This also increased our overall water capacity as we now have RO water stored in both tanks. This was a great solution for us - it gave us much more flexibility in mounting the RO system.

Very loud!
I needed this to convey water from my RO system to my refrigerator. The line is about 100ft of 1/2" pex and runs up into the attic and over the rafters. I am using this with a storage tank after the pump to stop any cycling. The low pressure switch is 40psi, then the pump pressurizes the tank to 60psi. It takes 10 seconds of running pump time. I have this in the garage and it shakes the wall and can be heard through the water line and the entire house. I am replacing this one with the .7gpm model. I still rated this 5 stars because it has it's uses and it's just not a good fit for my application.

JUNK JUNK JUNK!!
This is my second pump from this company and neither one lasted over 3 months.Oh and I bought this brand because they are local to me, took them 6 weeks to repair it under warrantyThey don’t stand behind their products, they easily could of just handed me a new one but they made me wait so I bought another one in the meantimeThe one I bought failed right when I got this one back, total joke of a company AVOID!
