Wow, I feel like a...genius! This was the nicest easiest remote purchase that saved my favorite hardy simple not smart or light tv from going to the trash! I honestly had no faith in this new remote! No way was this remote going to work instantly, since my memory of programming universal or new remotes can be awful specially when your product is an old dinosaur like this old HD Polaroid tv I won in a give away contest over 10 years ago. To make a long story shorter - I made a bet with myself that this remote wouldn't work, so I could ditch my last tv, declutter and start a journey towards owning less devices. But, this is the only tv that I rely on, after experiencing the fact that my very expensive Vizio, that I cried literally over, died after wifi here was upgraded to 5 speed and an upgrade disabled the normal volume control. Here are the facts, I think it is important to keep an old, simple tv around that works, just add a Roku, power stick ect and that's all you really need.

The original remote to my old TV got corroded by batteries so I purchased this. The setup was easy, the remote control functioned perfectly with the TV settings and controls. It is of good quality and I can use it for another TV as well so it was definitely worth the money.

This is being used with a Polaroid 49gsr4100km 49" 4k set and allows for all of the functions to be controlled from the remote. It even added direct sleep timer access, whereas I previously had to navigate into the menu to set the sleep timer. This is definitely worth it's cost.
