I love 'Rebels,' but there's a definite lack of merch out there for the series. When I saw this and how well it was painted, I caved on purchasing even though the price point was pretty high for its size. fortunately, it is beyond impressive in person—so much so that it inspired me to do a little photo edit of it… shot from my back porch!if you're a fan of 'Rebels' and have the Hasbro Black Series figure of the Ghost crew or some of Gentle Giant's busts, this ship and it's adorable little Phantom II is the perfect companion for your collection.

X-wing ships are not cheap. Unless you can find them on clearance, you're going to be paying around $20 for the small ships and $40-$60 for ones the size of the Ghost. Whether you play the minis game or not, this tiny representation of the ship in Rebels is really nicely done. The Phantom II attaches sturdily and comes off with only minor resistance. The Ghost's stand offer support for the wide, Crunchwrap Supreme-shaped hull and the thing looks really nice sitting on a shelf. I'd been hesitant to get this one for a while but I'm glad I did.

From the moment I saw this I knew it had to be in my room. I don't even have the the game, I'm just collecting the ships. The Ghost is huge! and the Phantom 2 is incredible. Overall this is such a beautiful product.

Just got this delivered today! Received ahead of scheduled delivery date and in excellent condition. This is just awesome! Who can’t resist the darkside and rule the Galaxy with Vader at my side!I just got into X-Wing after being an avid collector and eventual player of Armada. I decided to get the Core Set while prices have dropped significantly over the last few months as things are transitioning between FFG & AMG. I was just blown away with the details of the ships and tried out an initial game. I loved it! Immediately ordered these three ships and will be investing in an additional Core set to expand my Squadrons, get additional dice, cards, tokens and maneuver tools.

The TIE Advanced x1 is pretty much obligatory for anyone playing as the Empire. Not only do you get an iconic ship from the original film, you also get the biggest baddie of them all, Darth Vader! The new 2.0 model has the appropriate coloration (a blue-tinged grey that I hear the 1.0 version lacked) and comes with a solid maneuver dial, some decent secondary pilots, and a built-in Advanced Targeting Computer, which turns it into a veritable factory for critical hits, provided you're economical with your target locks. For anything less than $20, you're getting your money's worth: a good ship, a superb ace pilot, and a few upgrades besides. You probably won't need more than one of these for a competitive list, however.

This expansion provided a sorely-needed boost to my Imperial Faction, which was struggling to match guns with the other ships I was playing against. Altogether, this is a solid ship bare, and with Darth Vader aboard, it becomes even better.The ship is a lot more solid than your regular TIE/ln Fighter, and will generally remain in play for a lot longer. It's upgrade options are numerous, and being able to take missiles really helps out with some undergunned Imperial squads. So far, I have mostly flown Vader on this ship, as he is the only Imperial pilot I have that has the Force. This mechanic I find incredibly useful to both cause damage and to avoid it.I strongly advise flying Vader with at least Fire Control System, as you'll tend to find yourself with at least 2-3 damage level rolls. The only problem is that Vader is quite expensive and you will probably have to build your squad around him. However, I think it's a worthwhile investment because he is almost always the last ship to be destroyed in defeat and causes the most damage in victory. The maneuverability of the ship is still good, and if you want cheaper builds, the other pilots are by no means bad.

Gave as a gift and the individual loved it. I really added to their game play.

Bought this as a cool display piece. Really happy with the level of detail and the fact the Phantom II detaches from the Ghost was a nice bonus.The box came with a great star field package filler which I sliced up and popped into the base plates.
