LOCK & LOCK Square Plastic Food Container with Special Tray for Tofu 40.58oz / 5.07cup

I didnt see in any photo or description about this, but it comes with an inner tray. And the tray lifts out and the legs flip to switch it over to make a standing strainer or platform to help drain the liquid from your tofu!I sliced a couple slabs off of the tofu, leaving the tofu in the bittom of the container while putting those slabs on the tray, legs diwnwsrd, keeping the slabs out if the water and draining them. if you thickness your cuts just so then you can snap the lid down to press on your cut pieces, or slabs, under the lids pressure to drain it that way.I thought id only bought a storage container. But the versatile tray helps drain the tofu. Even if you dont use it for draining, it certainly helps with tofu storage and provides convenience when lifting your tofu block out of the water. And all for less than ten bucks delivered! Get it before you caa'annt.

this review is fairly short. Works exactly as advertised. I own three, two medium sized ones and the larger ones and I use them for tofu all the time. The tofu goes bad at times because I forget to consume it quickly enough, but that is not the fault at all of these containers. They keep food very well preserved, never take on any smell which is surprising for being all plastic, and clean easily. Sometimes it happens that I forget to let something I cooked completely cool off and then stick them on the fridge condensation sucks the plastic tops and I am afraid they might break but even though they are collapsed they recover their shape eventually, which is amazing because these things are very tough. I use them almost daily for a year or more now and its been fantastic.

I am completely amazed by this product and cannot recommend enough to all tofu lovers. My dilemma has always been being forced into using the entire block of tofu even if my recipe calls for a small portion.This Lock & Lock container is perfect for a typical block of tofu. You can leave the liquid inside of it in order to keep it fresh. The best part of this item, when you pull the insert out, the water drains away and the sides fold flat in order to allow you to slice a piece off.You can easily lift and place it back in the container. Of course, being a lock & lock, it is amazingly air tight too. So happy I made this purchase! Cannot highly recommend it enough!

I was looking specifically for a container to use for a block of tofu. This one is good because it has a non leaking seal so the water the tofu is floating in does not leak out. There is an interior lift which helps to remove the tofu from the water. It also raises it off of the bottom of the container slightly to allow it to be surrounded with water. We've used this for a month and like it for this purpose.

it is absolutely watertight, which i appreciate, but as with many plastics it tends to hold odors. i would greatly prefer a glass version of this or a similar item.

Love this container. Instead of Tofu I bought it to store blueberries purchased in store in clear plastic containers with holes. This Lock&Lock container keeps the blueberries fresher longs and because of the insert there is air that can circulate under the blueberries that keep them from getting too soft/soggy or moldy. I'm sure it would be great for many other food products and other items as well.
