I have been running these pumps for about 4 months now. They have remained submerged in water the entire time, except when my water reservoir is emptied and cleaned.The build-up you see on the pump in the picture is just vegetable oil, I add it to the water to keep mosquitoes from breeding. That said, the oil has not inhibited the pump at all.The only issue I've experienced is that after a couple months of running the hoses started to come loose from the pumps as they are only a friction-fit connection. I added a small zip tie, and this solved the problem.

After reading some of the reviews i debated whether i should buy theses pumps. I need them for a project i will be starting soon. I only need one small pump, but for the price of three , I believed that at least one would work. Surprise, they all work really well. They are the right size, Their voltage and current specifications are great, and there price is very good. I am extremely satisfied with this purchase!

The ones that work, work well. Only two functioned upon receipt. So, three stars because I received a non-working pump.I'll update if the other two don't last long. They seem pretty "cheap."

I received these pumps Not One of them working or has the power needed to replace my older one that worked great ( which is absolutely the correct pump ordered from this vendor. I had to wait for my fiancée to install them which is great with electronics! I need to return these and get my money returned for they are defective! One didn’t work period and the others are not working correctly

This product was used for an engineering school project. It worked perfectly. It came well packaged and the price was excellent.
