Premium Refrigerator Lock with Built-in Keyed Lock (Black)

I received my fridge lock today and installed it. It was very easy to do! It is a good idea to read the instructions that come with the lock- it even warns you to do this when you go to take off the plastic that covers the 3M tape! I used alcohol wipes to clean the surfaces and then dried it all off with a paper towel. I placed the two sides as close to the center of the unit so no one could pry their way into my beer stash. The tape is supposed to be pushed down hard for a good permanent seal and then wait 24 hours before using the lock- seems like overkill. The key works well in the lock- it was very smooth. I put the lock portion on the front door and the other side that holds the cable on the side of the fridge. Good purchase!

Look no further! This is the highest quality fridge lock on the market and a steal for the price. All metal construction, easy to install and it looks and functions amazing. I absolutely love this product....especially after purchasing other locks that were cheap, plastic and most barely functioned out of the box. This company stands by it's products. A++

I have purchased several different refrigerator locks over the years. These are the ones to buy. Most of them are made of plastic, have a cheap adhesive, a cheap "lock," and the cable does not swivel.These are made of metal, have a swivel for the cable so that it hangs out of the way, and use good 3M adhesive. The lock is okay. It's comparable to most cabinet locks, and provides enough security for a refrigerator. But it's certainly better than the others I've purchased.The mounting pad is pretty large. This isn't a bad thing, just be aware and measure first.They even come in a nice box with instructions, instead of a plastic bag like the others I've bought in the past.

Durable and premium. Install was easy. Used in the office for security. Easy access.

We actually purchased this to keep our elderly parent that lives with us from taking showers when no one is home. I know this seems punitive but he has memory issues and we have told him many times not to shower unless we know he is going to do so. He just couldn't remember to tell us and we were getting so frustrated. So, as a last resort we installed this for his own good. It works great because now he as to ask us to open the shower.I attached one side to the shower door frame and the other to the shower door glass (but I only exposed the four corners of the 3M sticker on the back so that it would be easier to remove when we no longer need it. I can only imagine how difficult it would be to get off the glass if we stuck the entire pad onto the glass.I took one star away because the key can be difficult to get into the lock. It takes some fussing around with it but eventually you can get the key in. It just shouldn't be that difficult, which tells me its not the best qualify locking mechanism. All the other components are top quality.

Excellent lock for my mini fridge! It's so nice knowing that when I return from being out or coming home from work that the grocery items, I recently bought, are still there waiting for me to open! I'm positive this will work for the fridge with the French doors...works great!

With kids getting older I wanted something that could lock up my basement mini fridge. This was just what I needed. It looks somewhat decent, holds strong, and does the job. Cheap solution versus buying a new locking fridge.

This little locking tool is a powerhouse. I used this on my file cabinet at work as people were breaking into it. Most didn't think it would stick or being as durable as it is. But it is... only way to get that pried off is by the key .Adhesive is strong. Just make sure when you are installing it that you make sure it is tight enough where the doors do not move much but not too much where you cant unlock it. I put the one side up and then closed doors to make sure it was the right distance to work and stuck the other one to the other side. . Easy install!Comes with 2 keys which is handy. I bought the 2 pack so 4 keys which work in all the locks. I love that feature as then I don't have to have multiple keys.Other peers have now ordered their own!
