good replacement cap

This works very well for a system that has already had the refrigerant bled out of it. Even if you didn't need the wrench itself, the kit's total price is less than you would pay for the set of replacement caps that it comes with (if you were to buy them from an auto parts store).

Warning* Only an experienced technician or DIYer should attempt to change the valves on any A/C system. The lines are pressurized and could cause injury if you don't know the correct process for changing them. My valve stem was leaking on the high pressure side and the cap was broken (mechanic missed this during my car's service). This packaged allowed me to replace those parts and the removal tool was a great plus. My existing valve removal tool was designed for air valves and is too short to remove the valves for my car's A/C. Saved me a trip to the dealer and now I have spares if it happens again. One thing to note; if the high side valve is leaking, you can use the same schrader valve used for tires. ...as long as you have a tool long enough to remove the old one.

Looked all over for the caps for my old Nissan Xterra, these fit PERFECTLY! They had the threaded insert in the cap so they fit! Nce to get all the extra parts as well, Great deal!

The removal tool broke within seconds of trying to use it to remove old shrader valve. Guess I'm headed to the auto parts store to order one. It the tool was that bad I sure don't want to use the valve. Complete waste of money
