Great nail set tool would buy again

Good as they have always been.
It's only good for one thing, but nothing else can do what it can do. These are easy to use. If you've never used one, just keep your finger off the retaining ball or you might get a surprise.

Great help
When I was installing aluminum soffit and fascia you’re on a ladder or scaffolding up high and trying to hold onto small trim nails to fasten them. With this driver, you put the nail in the barrel of the driver, place it where you want to and then hit the bottom shaft of the nail driver with a hammer. It lessens dropped nails and wrong placement and also hammer dimples in the aluminum trim from missing the head of the nail. You get used to using it and can sense when the nail is driven in all the way and I watched on the barrel of the driver as after use the metal shows a little bit of scuffing or slightly different color that indicates when the nail is driven all the way. I would say it doubles your speed of nailing and lessens errors a lot, ie, bent nails, wrong spot when you slip. I got used to using an extra finger to place on the tool to hold the barrel and shaft together between hammer blows, otherwise in nailing mostly vertically, the shaft drops down with gravity to the bottom of the barrel and that slows down nailing a bit. Great tool, well constructed and decent price. If you’ve got a trim job coming, buy it, it looks like it will last for years of use. It will not eliminate all problems from bluppers or slips or misjudgment, but will speed things along well and it’s made in the USA!

Small nail drive
It works well. It's just that I used to have one a little smaller. There is nothing wrong with this one.

Great build quality.
I've been doing siding for years and we've always bought these types of tools from big box stores. This tool from Midwest is by far the best nail punch I've ever used and our crew has switched completely over to this. Highly recommend
