Oceans Wonders Coral Frag Plugs 100pc

Love these plugs. I have purchased many sizes to propagate corals for my online business. The ruff surface allows good adhesion and the design is perfect for this purpose.

These plugs are great for fragging. They actually cut really easily with a simple pair of bone cutters. That makes it very easy to continue fragging as your previous frags grow out. Most other plugs are difficult to cut with bone cutters, or impossible. Some other types are even difficult to cut with a wet saw. I am convinced that people using other plugs do so to keep the average joe from being able to easily frag their own corals. The price is pretty good on these as well. My only negative on these is that they tend to be dusty out of the bag and need to be rinsed off to get a good adhesion when using the coral glue.

Definitely like the material that these are made of seems like my frags glue very good compared to the ceramic ones out there. I wish the platform was a little bigger but they are good and worth the money!

I upgraded my rating from 2 to 4 stars.The plucks are made out of some sand material that easily wraps from the surface so once you get them fresh from the plastic bag it is full of fine sand and every time you handling them even more is rubbing from the surface. So when you apply the glue sometimes it just peels the upper layer of the loose sand and it won't attach the coral into it. Which is a big problem for a coral plug. BUT... If you wash the plugs before using them, you going to get rid of a lot of this loose material and then the plugs are actually very usable. The material itself is very porous and rough which is good for adhering the super glue. The material is also relatively brittle so it is easy to cut it with pliers into pieces when you fragging or removing the stem if you want to glue the dual on a flat surface. Unlike other brands where reviews state that they are absolutely impossible to break or cut. Certainly not these. I have already bought about 600 of them.I like also the design overall because the stem is thick and long and it holds pretty well in frag holders.In general, it is pretty easy to work with these plugs

Great plugs at a great price!They’re strong enough- but not too strong. Easy to break the stems off when you want to, which my customers appreciate.

They were wet when I got them. Let them cure for a little extra time. They also smelled like fresh clay. Seemed to work alright though.
