This order shipped and was received as advertised. Great packaging. Came with double ended strap. Worked great for hoisting a boat motor without effort- 300lbish. A quick bump to the control button starts the gears and controlling when it stops is a little bit of a guessing game, but really not a bad deal. Practice makes perfect.

well this was a "open box' model for about half the price so I went for it.... It showed up with no damage at all and had everything that was supposed to be with it.... there. But what I found was that it would just quit working for no reason and the power light would go out. I'd jiggle the cord and it would go again temporarily.... long story short... it turned out to be the power cord itself had a break internally on the load side wire near the 3 prong plug and appeared to be a manufacturer defect. I keep stuff like that off of appliances I've thrown out and actually upgraded the cord to a 14 awg. it works great every time and I specifically use it for move tires to a high mounted tire rack. I like the remote cord being longer than most. much easier the coil up the extra than to make or need it longer.

Easy to set up and works very well. Gears were a little rough sounding at first but became smooth with a little use. The lift speed is a little faster than I expected which is good.

We liked how well it was made. We plan to use it during the upcoming white tail deer season to lift our carcasses. Thank you!

Purchased this hoist and, unfortunately, let the return time lapse before using. This unit is pure junk and dangerous. You have to play with the up button for it to make contact and the cable continues to move after either button is released. The motor has a horrible grinding sound when operating. I have decided to stop with Amazon until they can offer better quality materials. Seriously considering contacting OSHA in regards to this products safety.

This electric hoist came well packed and included more accessories than expected. I plugged it in and started it make a lift. It would travel down but would not travel up. Woah! have I bought a piece of junk? I contacted the company (not in the USA of course) . they suggested that the up limit switch could be stuck. I picked at it a little with a tooth pick and it popped out. Hurrah! I'm careful when going up that I don't do that again. Otherwise this hoist has far exceeded my expectations . It's light enough to carry around . I can fairly easily climb a ladder with it in one hand and put on a hook. I have several hooks in my garage ceiling and move as needed. Power wise I've never tested it's limit but it lifted my rotor tiller my snow blower my 12' sail boat with no problem. The corded remote is great though I think the remote would be better. I'm the envy of my DIY friends. But maybe not for long as they will have to buy one of these NEWTRY electric hoists

I have only used it a couple times for putting on /taking off outboard motors. It has a 1,100 lb. capacity. The largest motor I have lifted so far is about 300 lbs.

We install movable walls. They were 17 feet tall x 4 ft wide. Weight was 700 lbs. this work like a champ.Did an awesome job.
