Nice Unit!
This condenser fan motor worked like a champ. I have a Ruud uaka 024 jaz ac unit. Current motor is 3 wire hook up. This unit has 4 wire but very easy to wire. White wire to common on capacitor, brn wire to fan on capacitor, black to contactor. Brn & white just wirenut tape and put aside.

Good replacement motor for RUUD heat pump
Replaced the fan motor in my 2003 2 ton RUUD heat pump with this fan. Seems to work fine once you figure out how to deal with the extra wire. There were videos on YouTube that helped immensely. Just be sure to check your capacitor to make sure it matches the 5 mf requirement for this motor. The old motor had a 3 mf requirement so I had to wait another couple of days until the new capacitor arrived. The old gal is cooling great now!

Capacitors contactors and motors on ac condensers are so easy to replace
Perfect OEM replacement for my Rheem 2 ton AC. The hardest part was taking the fan blade off the old arbor on the old motor. 20 minutes of disassembly and install even came with the Spade connectors connected. The ground wire could have been longer had to extend. Hero heating and Air quoted me $2,700 to replace this $100 part they should be ashamed of themselves. I think pricing like that is extortion. They'll be out of business if they keep charging that much for services

Works, would buy it again.
Near the end of the extremely hot 2024 summer I could hear the bearings on my 20 year old outdoor unit A/C fan motor begining to make noise. I bought this because it was advertized as an "upgraded replacement". It did fit my 3 1/2 ton Rheem outdoor unit, and it seems to be working fine, we will have to put it through a Florida summer to know for sure. I would have given it 5 stars if it had fit exactly like the old motor, but there were three things that didn't match:1. It has five wires coming out of the motor instead of three. You have to connect two of the wires together to get it to spin in the correct direction. There is an information sheet that tells you this, but I had to read it many times to understand that you have to look at it from the side the leads come out of (the side opposite the shaft) to understand the maufactuer's definition of counter-clockwise.2. The motor was not drilled and trapped for the exact same mounting holes the original motor used. This means I had to remove and reverse the direction of the four bolts through the perimeter of the motor, and fortuneately, the original A/C grill cover did have holes needed in the right places.3. The original motor had it's three wires feeding through a rubber seal in the body of the motor to keep out bugs and moisture. This motor was missing this seal, and had a fairly large square gap around where the bundle of five wires come out. I sealed this up as well as I could with black Permatex RTV cement, I think it's OK, but this was an extra step I wasn't counting on. If you buy this motor I'd reccommend buying some RTV cement also. They kindly threw in six sheet metal screws to replace the rusty ones holding the covers on the outdoor A/C unit. Thanks!I'll have to wait for summer to really test the motor, but in a quick cold weather test it seems to work fine. I would buy it again, but it would have great to have read a posting like this when I bought it.

A life saver.
Quick shipping. Great product. Overall pretty easy to install. Just be aware. It comes with 5 wires. Some units will use 4, some will use 5. Do a lil research while it’s coming. Motor comes with 4 small pictures, one of them matching your scenario, so it’s nice to be a lil more prepared. Great item. Works great.

Works Great
This is for a Rheem Condenser unit. The plate is worn off so I can't read the model number. The old fan that I replaced was aEmerson model KA55HXEMP-890HP = 1/6RPM = 1075208-230 VoltAir Over CONT Frame 48YThermally protectedPT NO 51-21826-01Had to reverse the bolts on the motor so the threads were sticking out from above and I could hang it from the top of the condenser cage. The trick to getting the fan blade off the motor shaft without a puller is to take out the retaining set screw and spray the screw hole with penetrating oil. Then take a punch and put it on the inner ring of the fan were the metal is strong and pound it down with a hammer about an 1/8". Then sand the rust off the shaft with emery cloth. Then hold the shaft from turning with channel locks and rotate the fan blades to break it loose. Then work the fan off the shaft. I verified using a sheet of paper that the fan was pulling air down from the top to confirm that I got the fan rotation direction correct. The direction is reversible. I cable tied all the wires into place. I probably should have changed the starting capacitor but did not. The new fan is nice and quite and works great.

BUY A DIRECT REPLACEMENT!
BUY A DIRECT REPLACEMENT!!!The description said OEM upgrade. FYI Hidden meaning. That means you need more than just the motor. You now need a run capacitor. Has I known that, I would have sent it back. The weather finally broke and I went to swap it out. The new unit has 5 wires. The old has 3. The instructions are vague. REMEMBER, this is HIGH VOLTAGE! I am very mechanically inclined and trying to figure them out I had wires left over. Not a good thing. Tried to swap it for a replacement and just missed my 30 day return window. Tried to find a video online. Guess what. Wouldn’t you know. Nothing. Just buy an exact replacement and make sure you check it side by side when it comes in. Or, like me, you will be out of $110+ dollars. I hope this helps.
