thought this was expensive at first but this is so useful and easy to use. Takes all guessing and concerns if worries of not enough gas. Takes seconds to get accurate reading without removing bottle. Absolutely worth buying. Love it.!!!!!!!!!

Works really well. Simple to use and allows easy location of the level in the cylinder if that's something you need to be able to work out. It's only down side is it's a bit expensive.

There are some mixed reviews about this product, and yes, you can buy cheaper alternative methods to check gas levels in bottles, but I decided to purchase this and haven't regretted it. It's accurate, very lightweight, and super simple to use. Our one spends it's life in our caravan so I can easily check the levels of the gas bottles.As mentioned, there are cheaper and alternative methods or devices, but this is a Truma branded one, and I thought as they do all the heating, etc. in most caravan makes, then it must be worth a try, as I kind of hoped the name would warrant the cost.In some cases, spending more doesn't always guarantee a good product, but for me, it did on this occasion. It's worth it, but shop around.

Easy and accurate way of measuring gas bottle levels works really well.However I do question the cost does seem a little excessive

The checker works well on 6kg and 11kg bottles. Anything larger it struggles with. 13kg patio gas, checked three bottles, it indicated all were empty. They aren’t.You MUST wipe the bottle, wipe the rubber end. You MUST wait after a red no gas led for it to go out before testing again.The accuracy is around +- 2-3cm.Overall, ideal for camping type bottles. Useless for 13kg and above.

Bought for use on our Motorhome. At first I thought it was a bit pricey but having used it I think it is worth every penny. A very useful bit of kit for tracking the level of gas in your bottle particularly when it is getting low and you are planning your trips. Useful for getting the most out of your bottle.

Said bottle was pretty much empty - managed to be off grid by riverside for 4 days and still didn’t run out. BBQ bottle was supposedly totally empty too - but two BBQ’s - no problems. Given the price and brand, I would expect far better accuracy.
