I bought this to replace a self-standing exercise tower to save some space in my home gym. Following what others here have said, I ended up purchasing some 1x6 wood and 3.5 inch lag bolts for the hooks. The lags go through the 1x6 into studs so the wood is really only there for added support and to protect the wall. I've seen different methods in other reviews but this seemed like the most straightforward way with minimum materials. As long as your studs are 16 inches on center then the hooks should have enough space to hold the inside of the frame while the bumpers come to rest just an inch or two left and right of where the hooks are mounted.Assembly was pretty easy with the included tools. Just pay close attention to screw lengths as they aren't all the same. You'll mostly rely on diagrams and labels so sort the hardware into groups first so you don't mix up screws "1", "2", and "3".It feels very sturdy compared to the old standalone tower and I'm loving it so far! The unit itself is not that heavy and easy to switch between the two hanging positions. I weigh about 190 and I hardly feel it flex, even when doing dips.

So far so good. Easy to assemble, all hardware and pieces were accounted for, nothing missing from the kit. Haven't mounted it on the wall or tried it yet but it feels sturdy. I like there isn't much packaging waste to deal with too.

I bought this in 2020, when Covid was in full swing. We attached to the cement wall behind the garage for outdoor use - May - November. It was outside each year for those months and barely had a touch of rust that easily rubbed off two years later. The cushions got dirty but were still in good shape as well. I used it mostly for pull-ups and knee ups, attached bands via a carabiner to the hook at the top. It never felt unsteady and I really appreciate being able to switch it to the different positions. I have liked it enough that after we moved, I am going to attach it via the studs in the garage. Really recommend this. Company is responsive too.

I did what most of the reviews suggested and got some 2x10x12 cut to 3ft from home Depot as well as GRK Structural screws. I'm a big guy around 300lbs so I wanted to over engineer to make sure it's solid for my weight.Mind you I am not a handyman and have zero tools or woodworking skills. Home Depot cut the wood and I screwed it in the best I could.It's super sturdy and holds me just fine without any wobble. Also tucked away on the wall leaving tons of space in my small bedroom.
